need help with 3k room in a room

I'm building a 14'x7'x10' room and there are a few things i need help with

AC size: i've calculated room btu to aprox. 12k btu, but i will have 2 or 3 oscilating fans going go i don't know what sized window unit i should be using.

CO2 control:I have a slightly smaller than scuba sized tank with controller on it, but i don't know how i should run it with the ac system. What ppm setting should i have it around and when should i run it? when the ac is off at night or while the ac is running during light period?

I'm going for a kind of sealed unit. I don't want to have to deal with ventilation for now except for whats on the ac.

i would go 15k on the btu, gives room to grow + its not that much more expensive than the 1 ton. 15k i the biggest you can get @ 120v. this may or may not be nessisary depending on where you live & how hot it gets during the summer months.

co2- 1500ppm max. i start low @ the beggining of veg & work my way up. no co2 @ night. the controller should handle the rest.

i do sealed units myself...ventilation is a pita to get right..

My room is a little different shape 8 by 8 by 8 with 3 1K HPS vertizontals(non-cooled)parabolics.I use a 12,500BTU window AC and a 45 pint dehumid all night.I dont run the dehumid during the day it puts out too much heat and normally stays around 50% RH with lights on which is acceptable. You must run a dehumid when the lights go out no question.I set my controller to 1500PPM from the start and use a propane burner. The first couple weeks during the stretch they want plenty of light,co2 and nitrogen.Watching plants stretch the first couple weeks of 12/12 with 1500PPM co2 is quite a wonderful sight.I may lower to 100PPM's or so at 45-50 days on a 60 day strain because they just arent utilizing it the way it was earlier.Hell I usually just leave it at 1500PPM.Get a lazer thermometer if you can and shoot for 80-85F at the canopy. Some like it even warmer including myself during the stretch

From what i been reading I think a general rule for calculating ac size is 4000btu per 1000watts including co2 burner as a source of heat too.I want to do the same type of set up in a room thats's 10 by 10 8ft tall with 3 1000 watters on movers with ebb and flow 3gal buckets sealed?.But with a sealed room with no exhaust would'nt that get to hot? with no exhaust in a sealed room??????????????????????

Bigez, I agree with Ogatec. Go with a 15K a/c. each 1000W light puts out 3500BTU of heat. Three of them = 105,00BTU. That is not including what it takes to reduce room temp from outside temp. You don't want your a/c to run all the time. If you have air-cooled lights, you might get away with a 12,000 or 12,500BTU.

I have to agree with Pops being that 12,500 cools my room sufficiently with 3 1K's,its still a smaller cube shaped room.Your room is larger and sort of oddly shaped.I'd go 15,000BTU also.
