...ok ...i have not seen this one before.

i searched google and can't find the answer (prolly using the wrong terminology)

...anyway i'm using firefox on an hp.... and all of the sudden when i try to use the drop down arrow on my navigation bar it just flashes at me super fast and won't hold there....if that makes sense??

i run a kaspersky scan daily, and just did, and shut down...and re-installed firefox...still the same tho

...any ideas?....i'm sure it's something simple :dunno:

Be more specific, what do you mean by "flashes at you and wont hold there"

usually when i click the drop-down arrow on the nav. bar it will pop up and i can select a link from it.

...right now it just pops up for about 1/10000 of a second and disappears....not even half a chance to click on anything there

Go to restore and pick a date a few days back or a week back before you had this issue and use that as a restore point. See if that fixes it.

I would have suggested mouse or browser issue. Since you stated internet explorer does not do this then it would lead me to believe this is a browser issue. Backup your favorites, uninstall firefox, restart computer, then reinstall firefox. That should fix it for you. Ive seen add-ons/plugins bug out on people in the past. Also to be on the safe side, id also recommend doing a system scan for malware/viruses.
