Need help running Heavy 16. Not looking great.

Hey dudes any advice on what is going on here? I'm running heavy 16 following their chart. Running canna coco with ro water. I was thinking magnesium def... Not sure tho. Running heavy 16 full line. I don't have epsom salt so I gave them some Magical at 5/ml a gallon tonight to see if I can get any improvement. Thanks dudes!

What is the runoff ?
How much Epsom should you be using. It supplies Mg and Sulphur. Maybe 7 times more Mg than the same amount of some calmag I can't see the label for. The Calcium component in calmag antagonises Mg which is why Mg is put in boosters really aimed at adding calcium. Using some a calcium booster for it's mag could be ineffective.

At a glance, yes, Mg. However more seems to be going on.

Run off last watering was 1500 ppm 500 scale. I let them dry out too much. When i watered earlier I ran enough water through to bring the EC back down to 2.0 or 1040 ppm 500 scale. I will be watering more frequently now so the ppm doesn't fluctuate as much. I try to not let the run off be higher than 50 ppm than whats going in. I have herd that the standard rate for epsom salt is 1 gram per gallon. Should I skip the calmag and epsom and just up the heavy 16 base nutes? Thanks!

1. You're massively overfeeding. Try an EC of 0.6 or 300 PPM of flowering food for a couple of feedings. When the runoff EC/PPM reduces, slowly bring EC back up to 1.0, maybe 1.2, eventually.

2. You do need epsom salt (MgSO4) at 0.1 EC.

Especially with 1) R/O water which takes magnesium and calcium out of the water and 2) when the first pre-flowers show up, the plants need magnesium.

Feeding at a maximum of 2.0 EC is for late flowering, when the plant is producing a lot of bud.

Remember that nutrient wise it does less damage to the roots if you go from too little to more, than from too much to less.
