Ok recently I contructed a grow cab see the thread
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=24270
Now I was planning on buying a 100 watter to light the moms but the store discontinued them. So I went into town and at ace hardware bought one of these http://www.acehardware.com/product/...o+light&parentPage=search&searchId=5582155781
However I doubt it helps much its only 33 watts. The mother chamber is 26 in long by 9 in wide.

Now I'm planning on doing a scrog style grow where I'll maintain some mother plants and take clones from them and put them under a 400 watter hps grow light. Now though I need help with lighting my mother cab. Really I can only buy lights from the local Ace Hardware in town so I'm thinking Compact Fluorescents but I need help with which ones to get? What all I should I buy for the space etc? I also really have no wiring skills so if someone could help me on that thank you.

Btw I'm germinating 5 serious chronic seeds now for your information. Thanks for the help.

Well, you don't need a really huge amount of light to keep a mother going. Too much light & you might stimulate them to over grow your small compartment. Try this: buy several "trouble lights" and remove the hoods. That will leave you with a plain socket & elec. cord. Next get some spiral cfl's for them. I've seen some smallish daylight (blue spectrum) bulbs that are perfect for vegging. Use those & you'll tend to get shorter nodes & the moms won't grow all over the place. Just hang the lights such that they sort of surround the plant(s).

Hope that helps ya out/gives ya some ideas.

Oh, and another thing that just came to mind would be to buy a bathroom light fixture or vanity light fixture & hang that above your moms. They will have a row of 3 or 4 sockets. Get what ever fits your cab then use the same bulbs as I mentioned above.

well today i bought 3-26 watt spiral compact fluorescent bulbs each which is 1700 lumens so a total of 5100 lumens will this be enough to start my seedlings and keep my mother plants? Thanks
