need help just got my 1st lights ever 600w hps

hi ya'll let me start off by say ya'll rock if been doing a lot of read on this forum and ya'll are the shit cause you help noobies like me....lol

ok i got a buddy hooking it up with 11 blueberry strains, 4 Cinderella 99's. i just bought my 1st lights ever and i was wondering if a 600w hps will take care of 13 ladies in a small room well ventilated. of course i have to rotate and keep feed and watered. but not to sure how to take a soil ph yet.

now as of the last 2 of mine i plan on taking 1 of the cinerella's and 1 of the blueberrys and keep them in a veg state in 2 dwc's i prepaired myself of course i'll need a light for that, but should i get another one for my 13 or will they do fine???

Do you have just the one light, and what size is your room? If they are clones, and just rooted, you can put them under the one light and probably get away with it if you can keep them small......

I think if you placed them properly in your room you would have no issues, 13 is not that many plants, especially if you plan on doing some sort of LST

jj what if i added another 400w hps. im mean it a 6x10 room i think it could handle it but not for sure. i for sure want to get a 400w mh to keep one of each strain on veg in another room. any suggestions?

If you buy a 1000 watt unit u can run a 600 light in it then have a relativly cheep upgrade option btw GE has a bitchin 600 hps bulb that just came out . we are running the 400 version and it puts out 65,000 lums compared to around 45,000 I sugest the sun system VI reflecter . we just installed 2 of these hummers and they rock!!

Is there a name for those bulbs?^ my grolux is like 56-58,000 and i thought that was good for 400w.

Why would you by a 1K fixture and try and run expensive ass 600W lamps in it?Besides it beinmg wrong it makes no sense unless I missed something along the way

hey guys Aoxomoxoa meant for me to buy a 1000w so it will reach the lower buds more effectively than a 600w...

in that much space you have many options. 2 rooms is good. unless you want a big flower room.
then i suggest the 1000hps w/ a 600 on either side.
inline 6" vented hoods.
whats your ventalation like?

I was told by my light supplier that you can run a 600 hps in a 1000 hps fixture. I've watched as my light sales guy tried this, and this is the first time I'e heard it'll blow. You may be right, but it worked on the G.E. bulb I'll get the name of the G.E. bulb next time i go to Emerald city. Hopefully next week if it'l stop flooding, I'm suprised we still have bloody power!

The G.E. 400 watt hps bulb is "Lucalox" type: "LU400W/PSL (PhotoSynsesis Light) /T/E40" with a product code: 17160
Two of the stores claim it dosn'nt exist (thankful for the third store!) sort 'a like auto parts store whoes
