Need help identifying the problem

You wouldn't feed enchiladas to a newborn child. Treat your baby plants accordingly. Sounds like you're overdoing it. Your plants think so too.

My plants are 2weeks old. I'm using the whole heavy16 nutrient line with some armor so and I used GH rapid start the first week. Im noticing a few of the plants started having the tips of the older leafs turn a rust color and some of it spreads throughout the whole leaf. And also some the leaf tips are twisting and curling and some are canoeing upwards. At first I thought maybe I over fed them at such a early age or maybe over water but now I'm thinking maybe it is a mg problem. Any input or help on how I could make my plants healthier would be greatly appreciated.

yea im trying to figure out how to post pics and getting a better camera would be a huge help. I think I might have been watering and feeding to much. noticing some of the plants have a little green algae growing on the top of the soil now. what do I do to get rid of it? just scoop it out and let it completely dry out? I gave them some foiler spray with calmag last night to help the mg deficiency.

Nutrient burn always starts at the tips, with browning/dying that spreads from there.

Yes you are over-watering, classic newbie mistake. Pick the pots up before watering to confirm they're getting light, use this as your guide to know when to water. You're going to suffocate your root system.

Spray a little Hydrogen Peroxide on the green mold on the soil. Just don't go overboard spraying the whole thing down, just a light mist or two a day should do it. It might need another day or two of treatment. Then let the stuff dry a bit more between watering.

If you have a spray bottle it will usually screw right onto a bottle of H2O2.

thanks appreciate the help. I took about 10yrs off from growing and I find myself relearning a lot of stuff that I was told long ago. I remember when I used to grow in 5 gal pots we would water every 3 days or when we lifted the pot and it was dry.im also learning again that I must have patience and listen to my plants because they will tell me everything I need to know about what they want or don't want. again thank you for your time and help.

Amigo there is silica in the prime FYI no need for gh armor silica unless you foliar lightly but even heavy 16 has a bad ass foliar regimin these days..... cuts to young ones i use 1-2 ml Roots
4-5-ml A + B no prime till roots out beer cups ....use fire on or rt before flip ....use less grow more ....and the free vortex tea !!! Azos in veg aswell FTW!!

Do you use the finish all the way through? Yea I think I was over feeding I'm going to go lighter from here on out. What is Asus by the way? I just switched to 12\12 any advice on how I should feed them for bloom? Last feed I did 1ml roots 2ml prime 2ml fire and 10 each bud a and b. Plus I added a lil terpinator, photosynthesis plus and golden tree. Do you think I should cut out the rest and feed them straight heavy by itself? Also what was that germ technique you were telling me about again? Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn more.

drop the terpinator my personal opinion i tried it when it came out ....i usually use 8-10 ml AB max 15 ml but rarely..... not sure about golden tree not familiar and i personally have never used finish but am going to try it with some samples although my friend does use it with great results .....i do use budswell liquid in bloom at times in low doses mixed in with h16 its guano ewc type h16 has a inoculating flush recipe that includes photo plus on there IG they have better answers than i can explain to lol

Rust color that spreads through the whole leaf sounds like a rust fungus. Hard to really know without seeing it though.

The fact that your plants are only 2 weeks old though leads me to suspect you could be overfeeding them. Try reducing the feedings and give them plain water half or even three quarters of the time.

Overwatering and/or underwatering can also cause the twisting and curling of leaves.
