hey dude, from that pic she looks fine. She'll twist her leaves around as she grows. There's nothing unnatural looking in that photo.

for real??? someone told me best at 5.2 then let it creep through all the different elements? im pretty new to the whole grow game but im kinda easy my way in the door never messed with hydro especially...

damn better raise me stuff up then damn i was trying to be all precise and got down the right amount of drops to take it that low for now reason thanks man... hopefully someone else can verify this as well not saying your shits not correct just my plants are doing fine so i thought that that it slowly creep up to 6.2 was to get a balance of all the nutes??? im lost as hell

What type of nutrients are you using? If they are chelated, I would let them handle the ph of the res for you and not adjust. The first time you adjust you goof up the chelation elements in the nutrients and will be adjusting forever.

This may not be the same with all nutes, but I use BC Technaflora and there is never a need to adjust ph at all. The leaves will curl and twist a little if the ph is out of range, but many strains show those traits anyway. As the plant sits now it looks fine.

thanks for all the help.. but i use GH's Flora Nova series and ive heard good things about them so i tried it working good so far i didnt have to adjust ph it usually balanced at 6.0 but i was always aiming for the 5.2 that someone told me is the best for nutrient uptake because it slowly creeps through all the different nutes.... like i said before im way new to the hydro game so i heard it from everyone that 5.8-6.2 is the way to go i will fix next batch because i checked it right now its still sitting at 5.6 and i dont fell like added ph up i dont like to mess around with that stuff so we'll see whats up... hopefully something good... and soon i'll be

Getting the PH right makes a huge difference

Getting the PH right makes a huge difference

I too am using the GH Flora Nova nutes. I had an initial PH problem and the growth was very slow despite otherwise optimal cabinet conditions

The above photo was taken on the 25th. The yellow, spotted leaves were a result of the PH being off. The PH was stablized at around 5.9 the next day and below is a photo of the growth in just the last five days (5-26 to 5-31)

This was achieved with a strength of >500ppm. Best of luck on your grow!

nice thanks hatch also my leaves where folding like tacos only at certain tips of the fan leaves and only the tips not the whole leaf like i see in others thought it might have been from throwing the 400w on her... i have 3 23w cfls around it and raised the 400w higher and she let her leaves down is doing better so anywhere between 5.2-6.2 is good then??? thanks for all the help on this forum much appericiated....

here is the plant and was wondering when should i put it into flowering??? i have about 7ft of vertical space....

well i can tell you right now that no way can those 3 cfls give off enough light to sustain a tree...why not do a little lst wait a week then flower. and dont forget to switch spectrums on those bulbs

i dont have just three of those i also have a 400w above them thats currently on them as well the cfls are for side lighting because the new lower leaves werent getting much let with the 400w being so far away.

yeah its cool so i could flower right now would it drastically cut back on yield or what???

12/12 from seed drastically cuts back on yield....the more veg time=the bigger the yield
