Hi there -

There is somewhat of how to in the link in my signature. This would be for a micro type design. Not sure if this helps or not?

Good Luck - mS

Kinda depends on what size you have in mind. I got a pretty small veg cabinet. Uses all CFL's and a daytonblower and it can fit a lot of seedlings or maximum of 8 plants to 2 months. I plan to use it as a mother clone cabinet once i find 4 killer moms (all different strains) so its pretty versitile.

If you get a bigger cabinet like a wardrobe or one of the "c-13's" or whatever then you could easily put some HID lights with a blower in there. This works real well for my needs though.

I have a 400 watt hortilux and a 3x3 ebb and flow table. Sorry I guess it would have help if I would have mentioned this the first time.

How do you grow? Scrog or bushes? I've never done a table but mostly buckets. I'm thinking of an ebb&flow table for a cabinet I made 2'd x 4'w x 7' tall. Made out of 1/2" plywood and 2x3 studs. Made a shelf at a height that would allow a big (55g?) rubbermaid under the shelf. Installed the top 3" down (6'9" from floor) from top of plywood for a slightly hidden top. Mount ballast and exhaust exit there. Add some decorative molding along the top to the ceiling height and you can hide a few things up there.
The possibilities are endless, how are your woodworking skills? I did my cabinet this way to show how easy it can be to custom build one. The 2x3 studs provide secure mounting points and eliminate complex joinery. Plywood (cdx is cheap, bc higher grade, then hardwood ply is expensive) is cheap and easy to work. Melamie coated particle board is prefinished white ($25), but does not hold fasteners very well, again here is a good choice for using 2x3 or 2x3 for reinforced joinery...a good screw holder!
All you need is a circular saw and a drill. 400w will need to be cooled in a cab.

Now for more details...
growing style (scrog, sog or bush)
room height (scrog is lowest and well suited for cabs)

You could get a C22 from casa dePOT for $100, 4 12" 8' shelves to extend the back (2 sides & top & bottom) to make it deep enough for you 3x3 table. I think the shelves are like $15 or you could buy a 4x8 sheet and have them rip 4 12" (actually like 11 3/4 since blade is 1/8" kerf). Use gorilla glue and dowels to attach to existing C22 sides.....
I'm sure you get the idea....
Holla and we'll holla back, lol

Your gonna definately need a bigger cabinet than mine. Do you have a blower for the cabinet? Your probably gonna need one. Looks like sysprog has left quite a good description of building canna cabinets. Hopefully you can make one that will house your e&f and that light!

Here is a pic of my flower and veg setup. The flower room is 5x5x7 with a 600 watt hps, a 465 dayton for heat extraction, 2 4" active/passive intakes. The veg closet is 2x5x8 with a 400 watt metal halide, some sort of hydrofarm extraction fan.

Damn bigmo, that's sweet. Issack, I'm going to search your threads to get some more details on yours in action, really pro looking. I'll see about getting some snaps of mine being put together.

You won't find many on this setup as I just got it going. I was flowering in my now Veg Closet. Just couldn't do what I wanted so I built this about two weeks or so ago. I will get some more pics up on it soon.

Now I just gotta get her dialed in. Got the initial idea from O'Henry's setup, then modified it a little.

Thanks

Hey, thanks a bunch guys. had some ideas in my head, but knew that someone else has done this before. thanks again

I was thinking on going Sog and just using a couple mothers to clone from. I have a muffin style fan, don't know if that will be good or not. I guess odor should be the next question, can the Carbon filter that are sold be attached to a muffin style fan? Thanks again.

No way will a muffin fan work with a carbon scrubber. At least a dayton style but preferably a centrifigal fan (like vortex) since they are more efficient at higher pressures from the carbon scrubber.
