Cali med patient here and I am building up my room soon (4x8 or 5x9) and I am looking to get a tray that is 6 x 3 and a res that is 70 gal. I have an air conditioner that is a stand in unit that needs to be vented, a Reverse OM, and dehumidifier. Also have Co2 if I can make it a closed system. As far as nutrients, if there is enough money left over I may buy Avanced Nutrient lines or stick to GH. O yea, and I will be using two 600w digital Sodiums.
Any body give me some advice as to anything else I may need? Thanks for your time.

I have been growing since 2002 so I have stoped making rookie mistakes. My main problem is plant # limits as a med patient.

i find it interesting you're using ebb and flow trays but then you mention plant # limits are a concern.

WHy not do several larger E&F buckets or recirculating dwc in the same space with all the same equipment except for the trays?

maybe you have a higher limit than i'm assuming.....

im not bashing the plan.......just a bit curious/confused

Well, problems in the past consist of to high of temps in res, not being able to move plants around to manicure, along with others. This is why ebb and flow is good. Now what you guys are talking about is ebb and flow also? I still havn't bought or built anything yet, so I am up for some sugestions. (sorry about spelling, i am a retart.)

P.S. I am allowed to have 18flower or 36veg because I have three scripts in one house. However I am a chicken shit and only like to grow 12-18veg or 12 flower.

you sound like the perfect candidate for a coco grow with 9 under each light (ik ik, only 12....i can try can't i?)

but seriously, check out the coco forum. with the plant count you want and res temps being an issue, it just seems like a good option for ya. You can even set up automatic feeding if you don't want to handwater

Well, after reading up a little, I think that I will stay with the flood and drain design. I think that I am still going for the 6 x 3 tray. Anybody out there give advice on what tray sytem is the best? Is it better to go with two 3 x 3 instead so the res doesn't have to be as big, flood at different times? Is 500.00 to much for the table and res? (70 gal) Any feed back would be great.
