Yeah, nobody is growing with them. You could sell them to fund a grow though. It's disproportionate. Real lights are so much cheaper than these awkward things sell for used.
Friends give HIDs for free now. The small adds ask 20$. I have quite a few, simply because they are a disposal problem. My kitchen base units contain no pans. No plates. No old kettle. Just lots of HIDs.
