I've been wondering the same thing as
I'm too busy to look into these kinds of
things, everything these days is pushed
onto you as a multi-functioning fuck, a
thing you don't want, just a nice solid
MP3 player for one standalone function.

I don't want a shitty multi-functioning
phone or iPad cocksucker with an MP3
player app you know man. Just music..
Would be nice hearing recommendations
on the best quality product right now,
this phone advertised for it's MP3 abilities
is a festering sack of shit and nothing
comes close to those old USB players..
Which one is the most kickass right now?

Best MP3 players hands down, no camera
no apps nothing other than storing and
listening to music at the best quality today.
Does this even exist in today's times? Help..

as far as buying almost anything on Amazon, check the feedback ratings, the device you selected has no (ZERO) ratings yet, move on imo.......

I use the old iPods, fifth generation, switch out the hard drive
to a CF. iTunes version 9 on an old laptop, works for me.

I like a music player on its own, I don't want to use my
android phone as my main music player.

Good thread.

my 10 year old iRiver runs 40-50 hours with a single AA battery...
built-in batteries (= planned obsolescence) are a dealbreaker for me.

My Sony Walkman has great MP3 sound quality and FM stereo too.
Burn1

I have two of them, and I think they are great. Tough too, I bring mine to work everyday, plug it into a radio so it's not protected in my pocket. Job sites have a way of being tough on electronics. These haven't skipped a beat!

That being said I'd like an ipod classic. No touchscreen for me thanks. But I wouldn't bring it to work. Minimal muss and fuss, music, photos and video, just like my walkman's.
