N deficiency?

I have some plants outside which have buds set and been flowering for a couple weeks now. One has turned a real light green like lime colored and all the inner fans that i didn't pull have pretty much yellowed out, and a couple others are yellowing out under the cannopy on the main stalk. And a few more that have fan leafs that get max sun during the day starting to yellow. I was wondering what kind of solution i should get? I know something with Nitrogen but i heard u don't wanna use that much during flowering? So maybe something light that i can get from the local hydro shop, They just got a nice watering of compost tea this mornin its probably been 3-4 weeks since they last got it. Thanks

The only thing i have on hand with Nitrogen in it is MaxiBloom from G.H. which is 5-15-14. If i watered with that wouldn't it kill off all microbes or good stuff that the tea is? Sorry for the stupid noob questions im only a few years into outdoor growing. I also have some Earth Juice Grow from HydroOrganics thats only 2-1-1 NPK. Each watering has pretty much gotten Liquid Karma added besides the tea, I heard the L.K. is suppose to be good stuff,? to offset any deficiencies?

yes, dont touch the chems if your all organic so far, i know a problem arises and you go back to what you know (chems) i did it too, but dont! unless your already using chems which means you basically have no microlife so go ahead...

i have a trainwreck plant that is turning a light yellow-lime green also, i too am hitting it with some fish hydrosylate (15-1-1), some guano (0-10-0) and kelp (0-0-14)... so that should take care of it, good luck :)

if you think its N def. then use some alfalfa tea, or top dress, MOST organic ammendments have a good amount of N in them, take your pick.... i would use blood meal last though imo, neem meal would be first.... or maybe shrimp meal, 6-6-0 wanna get some P in there too, to start flowering (not much though)

edit: some times when running multiple strains/phenos, they feed differently so you may need to add an additional top dress to the heavy feeders so you dont have to change water nutes..

u can get some bat guano or alfalfa and drench it and it will take care of the Nitrogen def. i use the mexican bat guano. bat guano also has another great thing about it and that is its got chitosan in it. only the insect eating bats will have chitosan which is the higher nitrogen bats like mexican or sumatra

When feeding my flowering plants i do stick with nutes, I been using Maxsea, liquid koolbloom G.H. and there granulated which is crazy like 2-45-28. I do flush every 3 waterings plus 2 weeks in the end for a final flush. I think im done with all that shit i have another month of veg for some starts that will be going in the greenhouse for our 3rd and final run, Ill be buying fresh soil with all the goodies in it and probably add a good amount of castings. and just give em filtered water throughout...

Everything is nice green from ten feet away, but when you get your head underneath the canopy its yellowing out and leafs are dying off?

now that you confirmed you use chems it could be some kind of nute lockout also, what do you think noonin? have you been feeding heavy or lightly? most of that stuff sounds pretty heavy, when i used chems i always used 1/4-1/2 stregth of label, you'd know better than us... more info

edit: ditch the chems, go organic, so many less problems with a living soil, they fix this shit for you...

^ Its hard to tell im only in 30 gallon geo's an plants are probably 9 feet tall on my seed plants, i bent all my tops over cause of a neighboring fence and to induce growth to the inards.. I pretty much been having to water daily if not they tend to droop, mostly getting charcoal filtered water and nutes every 3-4 waterings. I do have 3 plants from clone that are kicking ass in 30's also an getting the same regiment of nutes, but they were put out the first week of June, compared to my seeded plants that were a month before that. The seeded plants were Blueberry X Mr. Nice...

Im not sure about a lockout, I watered thoroughly with that carbon filter 2-3 watering before giving them nutes again.... Thanks EBG

He needs help with his current grow, not to be brow beat into something else.

EJ Grow is organic.

Pictures are helpful. Which MaxSea product are you using?

Zinc deficiency shows on new growth, this sounds the opposite though a picture would confirm either way.

It could be another issue but judging from the feed and what you've told us one or two doses of EJ Grow should resolve the issue depending on the degree of yellowing and flower time left.
