Mystery Repellent.

A friend of mine says he knows a guy in BC that can get some crazy bug repellent that costs $100/gram and you just put a drop of this stuff in the corner of your room and you're free and clear of all bug problems.
Has anyone heard of anything like this? It seems to me something that powerful probably isn't good for humans, but who knows?
