Yay, I'm back! I got really stoned and well medicated off the last harvest. If you followed my last thread, we started from seeds because I had to get rid of all my heirloom clones due to a serious Thrip and Mite infestation. I wanted to be bug-free and with less than a month of vegetative grow we did .23 grams per watt in a 1600w room (do the math, hehe). So we grew some great Jack Herer seeds that I originally doubted would even germinate (old beans) and some White Widow (oldest beans in the stash). I only kept clones of three plants:
This is what I called for labeling purposes "C99 pheno" but she tastes totally different than C99, very sharp "Tilex" Bathroom cleaner scented. Going forward I'll call this one Tilex
And here is the recessive purple runt Jack Herer, I did not take her all the way and completely finish her but this one tastes like a good Fruit Cup with grapefruit, peach and pineapple flavors. Just one clone going right now....
"Kushy Golfballs" is what i called this clone, I smoked the entire stash right away, it was strong candy and all our friends were convinced its better than the Bubba and Purple Kush going around right now, I think its in the same league but its hard to pick something better when you have Bubba and PK in the mix, those two plants are amazingly tasty. Oh, its a white widow pheno.
I'll post up more information on our homebrewed girls when I post pictures of their room in the next couple days, basically they are two very similar phenos of ChunkTrain{3 different Deep Chunk Males from a 10 pack that produced 7 great females x Humboldt (Arcata) Trainwreck mother }. The ChunkTrains make the freakiest buds I have seen and the pot is very trippy (like lemony sandalwood lemon Schrom if that helps at all) but with kona coffee blend hazy taste. I have about another 200 beans left after growing these on and off during the last two years so I'm really familiar with them.
ChunkTrain F2 was a mistake, I had the males in the basement and still managed to pollinate my first run of ChunkTrain with no selection, 12 males total could have provided pollen since that is how many I wanted to chose from, but after pollinating them I killed all the males to avoid tainting another run. I really wanted to chose only a couple and be selective about which plants I pollinated, I only wanted to use the top 5 or 6 not everyone without knowing which father corresponds. These beans are only about 18 months old and recently out of 15 beans 13 popped and now we have 5 lovely girls, I threw out all the males as soon as they showed sex. *During the same time I germinated some yumboldt seeds and had no luck with them, they were not in the refrigerator with the other beans so I think that had something to do with it*
Finally we have "Haze" bagseed. My friend and I purchased some really amazing exotic Haze this summer, it was very expensive and when we got home our batches were seeded! I got 25 beans and germinated them a couple months ago, we got only 3 males and these plants are amazing, I revegged them after germinating them for 28 days then flowering for two weeks and as they reverted I got the scent of the DANK DANK (DRUG HAZE! woohooooo!), I'm most excited about these right now because they are the first to flower in this session and have 9 weeks of growth under their belts before flower. I have some of these in all three rooms, many different phenotypes with these and a couple didn't do so well after they reverted to veg. I'm positive they are not real haze because I have grown real sativas and these are hybrids, some of the more sativa leaning phenos actually look like sour diesel.
So to summarize on the composition of the rooms:
HydroHut 4.5 x 4.5 with 1000w SuperBlue Hortilux aircooled houses:
8 "Haze" (from seed)
Garage Room 8 x 16 with 2000w mixed bulbs; a Super HPS Hortilux and a Sunmaster houses:
6 "Haze" (from seed)
Main Room 14 x 16 with 1600w both Super HPS Hortilux bulbs:
5 Trainchunk f2
3 Tilex (JH pheno)
2 Kushy Golfballs (WW pheno)
1 Purple JH (runt from last run)
