Mycelium Question

Dear Organic Heads,

Ive recently had problems with seedlings dying off due to root aphids infestation in my groom. I have managed to somewhat control the issue.

Lately when germinating new seeds i thought i should block the top and bottom layer of the 0.5L pots im using as a starter.

I have used hydroton in most pots but i ran out and had a few pots that i used Hay to block the bottom layer and the top coco layer.

Few days later i have started to see a webbing like structure going off on the bottom (looking through the holes) and on the top layer.
Quick research led me to read about Mycelium that forms by decomposing of organic material (The Hay)

Now i know it is a good thing for organic growers but unfortunately i am not on that road right now (don't hate) Im using bottled nutrients. These specific seedlings only had Cal-Mag application which is 4-0-0NPK and should be start getting the COCO A/B regime anyday now.

Bottom line is - i wonder will it be a good thing for my starting seedlings as this mycelium keep growing off like crazy but i am not using any organic applications? will this result in a huge failure?

Please share your thoughts guys,
P.S
Sorry for my english
