I have had problems in my room with temp and humidity before.
And we all have the thermometer and humidity reader with a max and min temp, but not relative Humidity (RH).
Worse, I always wanted to know, "OK if I did hit 88 degrees, how long did it stay at 88?"
then I found data recorders. I found this one (Lascar EL-USB-2) on Amazon for about 75$ USD.
You place it into your room, and when you need the data, you can bring it back to your computer, plug it in, and it will save the data and give you a graph of temp and RH.
So you can tell,"OK, room hit 88, but only stayed that way for 15 minutes versus that it stayed at 95 degrees over 8 hours."
I hope this helps whomever needs it.
