my tent broke

Hey now. I bought a few tents over the last few months but the very first one was a no name tent probably from china.

Well, the other day I went to check out my grow and guess what? One of the metal cross beams on the top bent enough to cause the weight distribution to change and then snap 3 of the 'y' 3-ways in the corners. Oh, and my hood was resting directly on my plants.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to replace a frame for a tent. I have it fixed temporarily but I plan on heading out of town again and I don't want to worry the entire time I'm gone. I thought pvc might work, but it's too flexible. I need something more rigid. Anyone ever try 1"x?

Thanks

1"x lumber? Really doubt that would work, 1 by is weak flimsy stuff. I know you can find replacement corners, should be able to find replacement poles too. Try Ebay maybe.

I thought 1x lumber for a sec but soon realized that it wouldn't hold up. What about angle irons? Other than the sharp edges, it should support the weight easily--I assume.

thanks qp
