MY SECOND GROW (but 1st in hydro what do you think )

started my 12/12 cycle 17 days ago im using a 1.2x1.2x2.0 m tent 600w hps lamp and just started feeding full strengh VITALINK A and B bloom
The clones which are growing are .
2 ARMAGEDDONS.
2 NEW YORK CITY DIESEL
1 SSCDH X CHEESE.
1 CINDERELLA.
1 SOUR DIESEL.
1 WITCHES WEED

as ive never seen a hydro setup in real life i dont no
if things are going as they should so any helpfull tips would be greatfully recevied as i said the only other grow i got under my belt was using soil and im sure the budds was bigger at 15 days .
The clones im using i took from my last grow apart from witches weed and the sour diesel which i only veged for 2 weeks
Will this make a differanc e as all the others had nearly 3 weeks longer they are a lot smaller as you can see in the pictures

But I really cant tell what kind of hydro you are running? Kind of looks like a rubbermaid container dwc? or is it flood and drain? NFT? It looks pretty damn good though!

looks like flood/drain and has a layer of that foam covered with foil over the plants and roots.......but it is looking GREAT for your first hydro grow mine was horrible root rot and death.....but this time around my soil plants suck and hydros doing awesome lol....

thanks for stoppin by and reading an takin the time to reply , im running 2 nft tanks each at 1m long x 15" wide covered in hard plastic board covered with reflective sheeting with small pumps on each , on 1 i run it 24/7 and the other is on a timer i did this to see if ther was any differance in growth on each tank
Each tank has 3 plants in , there is also 2 in pots . which are in compose, perlite and something else begin with v but not sure what its called
Dose any no could i have fitted more plants in the tanks?
or wouldnt it of mattered since i only have a square meter to play with any way thanks again for replying

Edit: more plants would unlikely yield more, just more popcorn nugs ^.^ I used to run 5 plants un a 3x4 foot area and did great, went up to 10 plants and did considerably worse - with limited space, less plants is often more, unless u wanna run a very short veg.

every thing was ok when i lefted less than 18 hours ago but when i went back today disaster lots of leaves were droopping ,curling and looking like they were drying out both my tanks looked the same i added more feed 3 days ago every thing looked lush and green and healthy yesterday so what could of happened in less than 18 hours i have'nt got a clue this is my first problem all the plants are ok from the middel down .
Do plants useally die from the top downwards ?
they looked burnt to me but the light wasnt that low
If they werent getting water would they look like the pics im going to put up
Well any one who can help it would be gratefully recevied as ive said im very new to all this just 1 more thing in 1 of my tanks ive got a small witches weed growing and thats ok and is feeding on the same feed aswell as 2 pots that are in soil and there ok .
the hydro im using is nft if you havent guessed
I new things were going to well ,well here's some pics . take a look and see if you can help

well things have gone from bad to worse 60% of the leafs are now dead or dieing all the plants (nft) in hydro are now affected as well as the whole plant not just from the middle up like yesterday
the one's in soil and perlite is are ok .
well what i think the problem is is a friend told me to put an air stone in but thinkin it wouldnt matter i put 3 oxegen tablets in each tank its the only thing ive done differantly i forgot id done it until i see the tablets sitting there today
Dose any one know if this would kill them and if so what can be done at this rate 72 hours and i think they'll be DEAD!!
Any help would be gatefully recevied

cheers for stopping by Mdk Ktm . Well the ph yesterday was 5-5 in one and 5-7 in the other but have done full water change and cleaned the tanks. Well i think things may be turning for the better well the rate in which the leaves were dieing has slowed and they look like there getting a bit of colour back so hopfully ive turned a corner i should know for sure tomorrow but they defenatly are'nt dieing like they was f--king oxigen tablets teach me not to fix what int broken what a plonker

well went in today and to my surprize no new dead leafs so it looks like the rot has stopped (thank you thank you thank you )
aswell as no new death there colour is coming back in what leafs are left aswell as no burns on new growth so all being well they might survive
Im hoping it dose'nt affect the final smoke but time will tell
Any way on brighter note took some pics of the aeroponics i copied of you tube and things seem to be going well ive put 4 plants in it which are

the last i only put in yesterday so is a little behind the others but should catch up in no time
To be honest not sure if its a real aeroponics cos ive seen 2 differant one's
1 that gave of a fog and the second 1 was with jets ive done mine with jets but what ever you call it it working ok .
the roots are already coming out the pots and the 1st three have only been out the propergater 6 days

well quick update well thing have been looking up the last few days my girls have stopped dying at last a nd are looking a lot better
Ive just started to put buddy in with there nutes and they seem to like it noticed quite a bit of differance in the 48 hours that i started to use it they are s till looking a bit bald but im hoping most grows back and my week of trying to murder them dose'nt affect the smoke and final yield
Also im in to my second week of veg on my home made aer o ponics which seems to be going really well especially once the roots came through the pots.

well just a quick up date well my aeroponics is coming on ok just took some more clones of them for my next grow going to flip them over to 12/12 in the next week or so i car'nt belive how fast the roots grow well all ive done to them since i last posted is change the light i was using i did have a 250w hps but ive put 15 x 23w and 4 x20 i need use the hps light elsewere so we'll see how they go seems ok athe minute time will tell well i think ive caught the grow bug cos this started as my second grow and ive started my third and just going to start the 4th but as i said this started as the second grow and im into 33 days of flower so not to long left they have all now recovered from me trying to murder them apart from my nyc diesel being a bit bald of leafs i think that the damaged i did to them has effected the budd growth cos im sure the budds should be bigger 33 days in but we'll see its got a really nice smell to it but what it smells like i dont know i think thats cos having 6 different strains its a bit of a mixture theres defo a lemmon smell and really sweet smell any way we'll see the proofs in the smoke well thats it here's a few pics of the 18-10-2010 hgappy smoking

When plants starts the flowering mode it will draw extra nitrogen from the shade leaves so some will turn like what you have pictured. Have you check to to see what your roots looked liked? Growing hydro you need to keep on top of the water temperatures if it gets above 72 degrees good chance of getting root rot. I use a tri-meter that monitors PH, Nutrients and most important water temp. Depending on where you live I have to run a aquarium chiller to keep everything in check.

cheers for reply matey the reason for the bald plants is i put some oxigen tablets in there water a friend told me to put a air stone in and i use the tablets instead and within a few hours 40 to 50% of the leaves were dieing or had died (what a plonker) up to then every thing was fine as you can see in the early pictures they seemed to have recovered apart from being a bit bald .
I havent been able to look at the roots as with me doing a scrog i car'nt lifted the tops of the nft tanks and the only other thing to worry me a bit is the lights out temps there down to about 55 not sure if thats to low
