My poor girls =(

howdy guys just checkin to see if anyone has any input on my girls here. they basically stopped growing after their 2nd set of leaves, I repotted about 4 days ago and they seem to be takin off now except the leaves are yellowing from the inside out (basically doing the opposite of a nit. def.). Watering schedule has been every other day and the last two waterings i've been using about 1/3 strength of earth juice grow.

I appreciate any input,
Laters

Hey Dirty have you had extra long nights or colder temps at night? All my babies have shown the yellowing at the top leaves but green up by the end of the day. How many watts are they under?

Alot of the time my new growth would be yellow from the inside out like that and I'd be like oh shit but the next day it will have greened up.

its normal they will green up

if not then you have a micronute deficiency
but right now its alright no worries

They don't look too bad at all mate but I've had plants do that from too little light before. What light do you have and how far away.

Otherwise, if you are on an 18 hour light schedule, extremely cold temps during light out will have that kind of effect too.

Lastly, could be a micronute def. like mynamestitch suggested.

girls are under a 400w mh, "roughly" 18 inches from the tops. Nights arent too bad right now, cause i run the lights 24/0 and I got a small heater in the room, and thermostat by the plant tops reads ussually about 71-75, and has had lows from about 62 to as high as 80, cept for the one time i left the fan off after i sprayed the girls for spidermites and I came in the next day and saw that i left the fan off and the thermostat read 89 degrees, heh.

They're 15 days old today. hopefully they pick up. In a few days I'll probably start some nirvana super skunk seeds. As things come along I'll post up more pics.

alright, well they're looking up alil' bit, hehe. Past two waterings I've used 1teasp. epsom salt, and alittle under 1teasp. of both earth juice grow and catalyst to a gallon of water.

and on this pic you can see a few dark brown spots on the lower leaves.
any input is appreciated. I think I'm probably over ferting them alittle so I'll probably just give them plain water next watering.

peace guys,
Dirty

I need to ask a favor of anyone who has a spare minute if you think about it.

Just get me a ph reading of any brand water that i can find (let me know so I know which type of water to buy).

I recently bought a ph pen and I've never had to calibrate one before, it wasn't hard but i just wanted to make sure that I calibrated it right.

I appreciate any help

Your water should have EJ grow1/4strength, Bio bizz root stimulant(or whatever Co) Superthrive Vit B. They will be green in no time. Oh did the Ph pen say it has to be Calibrated, my meter came ready, with buffer to use later. I would use it. Any reading is better than none :chin:

it was a milwaukee ph pen, i'm not sure if it came calibrated or not cause i calibrated mine as soon as i got it using the buffer solution they gave me.

I had just never calibrated one before, and the distilled water i'm using the pen reads it at 5.8, which made me start to doubt myself alittle, hehe. =)

Hey Dirty,
you still on 24/0 with your lights? If so, ya might wanna switch to 18/6 & give em some dark to rest in. Otherwise things look pretty good to me!! :woohoo:

that exactly what I did (switched from 24/0 to 18/6) The difference to me was quite notable.

thanks everyone.
and yngwie, yeah, i was thinking my ph was too low, like i said my pen read the water at 5.8 BEFORE I added any nutes, but i've never calibrated (or used) a ph pen before, so i wasn't sure if i calibrated wrong or what.

I thought about going to 18/6 before, but a question, what about mothers and clones? could they be under 18/6 just as well? if so i'll really have to consider this.

I'm also pondering moving this whole gig into my spare bedroom, it'd be just a tad smaller of a space than what i have now, but i think the temps would be much more controllable, not to mention i can tell you now i'm gonna have pest problems in the basement.
