My plants are dying a slow death

How long has this problem been going on?
Slowly for 8 weeks

Are you growing in a PVC grow tent?
I think so. It is a Habitat 44 with the white lining. I bought it a year ago

What system are you running?
Hand watering coco in 2 gal buckets

What STRAIN are you growing?
Master Kush x Sour D (9 weeks flwr)
White Shark (5th week flwr)
Dame Blanche (5th Week flwr)
G-Force (5th week flwr)

What was the establishing technique?
Flower straight from clone into straight Coco

How long have they been in there mixture they are in now?
In coco straight from clone

How tall are the plants?
14" - 19"

What PHASE are the plants in?
Flower

What Technique are you using?
Handwatering in coco

What substrate/medium are you using?
coco

What is the Water temperature?
No res but when I feed them it is usually around 71-75 F

What Nutrient's are you using?(If growing soiless)
Foxfarm Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tigerbloom
Botanicare Cal-Mag
Canna PK 13/14

I started my 5 weekers out in Canna Coc A & B but the ppm's were so low I thought thatwas the cause of my problems so I switched back to

Foxfarm

How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water?
1 tbsp/gal Big Bloom
2 tsp /gal Grow Big
1 tsp /gal Cal-Mag
1 tsp /gal tiger bloom (certain weeks)
1/2 tsp/gal PK 13/14 (week 6)


How often are you feeding?
Every other day

How often are you giving nutrients?
Every Other day

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
week 2 of flowering

What order are you mixing your nutrients?
Big Bloom

What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using?
Hanna PH/EC Combo reader (black waterproof HI 98129)

What is the pH of the "Tank"?
I PH my jugs of nutes to around 5.7 -5.8

Are you sure your calibration is correct on your equiptment?
I think so.

When was your last watering?
yesterday.....weak solution (1/2)

What is your water temps?
71-75 F

How often do you clean your system:
I water til I get runoff each watering so no flushing although yesterday I did a weak solution

What size bulb are you using?
600W

What is the distance to the canopy?
20 inches

What is your RH Factor(Relative Humidity)?
LO.....it doesn't get picked up by my hygrometer so I am thinking it is easily under 20%


What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range)
Day - occasionally as high as 85 but usually no higher than 80 with a low around 77
Night - gets as low as 65 and they have seen a couple of nights in the 50's but usually around 71

What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)

Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ?
I have a squirrel cage pulling air from outside into the bottom of the tent and I have a can fan pulling air out of the tent and blowing it outside. I also

have a booster fan pulling heat from my Daystar AC. Everything except the booster fan is on 24/7. The booster fan comes on with the light (12/12)

Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
I have a really little fan tat is but it barely sway the plants.


Is your water HARD or SOFT?
HARD

What water are you using?
RO Water strictly

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned off of or pinched
I don't prune, I just pick up dead leaves

Have any pest chemicals been used?
I just started using a little gnattrol (sp?) and CLean Air Purge III spray for gnats. I haven't seen that many but one is enough.

I am beginning to think these plants won't make it to their 9th week if I don't figure out what is wrong

They will make it, they just wont be pretty, but the buds will be fine.

Well if you have been growing in the tent for a year I don't think the tent is the problem.... Are you using cal mag? They look to be showing a mag deficiency maybe coupled with a n def also I would try adding some veg nutes to the mix and some cal mag if ya got it if not Epsom salts will do 1 tbs per gal.... Keep your nutes under 1000 till you get this figgured out .Did you flush the coco real good? It could be ts build up as well.

Yeah for a while I thought it was the pen as I was using the canna coco A & B but was only getting a reading of around 350 ppms with a full feeding of A&B,Rhizotonic and RO water. I would then test my tap water and get a reading of 500ppms (which sounds about right).

Here is the other thing. I've had this tent for a year, but for much of that time it was put away as someone broke into my house during my second batch in this tent. The first batch I ever grew in there didn't come out okay and now these aren't either. I've been hearing a lot about outgassing issues with some of these tents. I am hoping this isn't part of my problem

ps I had problems with "gasses" ad my plants died in a week or less! So maybe its a ph problem? Meassure the run of water.
Then I got a problem with too high ph, got lockouts, I added 10ml/L of cannazym, next day I flushed with 7L of water each plant ph 5.0. I use 3,5L pots

hey bro. im not sure how many grows you have under your belt but I can make a low cost suggestion that will solve your nute issues and its very simple.

shelve all of your current products. go get a bottle of GH novabloom. flush the hell out of your medium with clean water. mix the novabloom @ 5ml per gallon and ph up to 5.9-6.0. now feed your plants. it wont fix the damaged leaves you already have but it will feed the hell out of the buds you have and allow them to bulk & finish on a good note.

for future grows, I would only use GH novagrow during veg and GH novabloom during flower. it is very simple, low cost and its all your plants will ever need the entire grow. a lot less headache and money out of your wallet too. The hydroshop guys will tell you to buy all kinds of crap you dont need cause thats their job is to sell the customer as much as possible. you dont need it.
