My Organic Tea Smells Like Ammonia! need help

I feed my babies with organic tea i make every week, but this week it smells not earthy like usual but it smells like the chemical ammonia i even got a little dizzy after opening the bucket it lid and the smell rushed out, does anyone know if this is bad, and just dump the tea or is it safe to use, does anyone else ever get this smell

The bacteria in the tea has turned from aerobic to anaerobic.You said took the lid off.That lid is prolly alot of your prblem.Leave the tea uncovered and either have an airstone bubbling in it or stir it often to intergrate oxygen.You can do this and it should turn the anerobic bacteria back to good bacteria.Unless its really far gone teas can always be brought back to life.But i definetly in the future wouldnt leave it covered and if you dont have an air pump and airstone Id get them.Good luck,I hope it all works out for ya.Peace,Gromerr Pott!!

Right on Gromer; it went anaerobic on her.

As you say, if not too far gone it can be resusitated. Maybe a handful of new EWC and some Liquid Karma will help it regenerate.

I have two airstones going in mine. I wish I had a quieter air pump though. I hear that buzzin from my bedroom sometimes.

Make sure you leave the lid on loosely and aerating it is a must IMHO.

Been real busy Obli that and finally found all my ol AN pals from the old forum at a new one so I been over there quite a bit since.I will make sure to drop in though,heck you inspired me.Had some PUre sativas Nevilles haze and Im runnin em 12/12 from seed just for you!!LOL!!Heck two weeks and damn near over a foot not too bad from seed.I bet they still stretch for the moon,damn hazes!!!Peace,Gromerr Pott!!
