Yea, I guess I could have covered the finer points of setting newborn seedlings in an OBBT. This is why you really need to do seed surgery, you can see how it would be impossible to 'plant' a seed in there the traditional way. Glad you decided to stick it out and root the babies in the OBBTs, even with your setback. Some kind of little pocket of pure compost/vermiculite or something in the center of the incubating tubs should be a requirement for anyone rooting seedlings straight in. Why didn't I think of that?
