hey,

how's it going fella's,

got a clone of some northern lights from a buddy of mine.. it has bugs. on the under side of the leaves. i dont know what kind they are off hand but they leave little yellow specks on the top side of the leaves. there tiny little black things and lots of white tiny eggs. now how do i get red of them..

the clone has been in veg for about 2 weeks since forming roots. she's only 7-8 inches tall with about 6 or 7 fan leaves.. 3 of the leaves are half dead do to the bugs im assuming..

i read in high times that i should use proxide and water.. is thgis right or shoud i use something else becasue the plant is so young.. thanks..

Sound like Spider Mites....

One of the worst pests you can get imo, but you can get rid of them.

Buy some Neem Oil, and some SM-90.

Mix water, full strength neem oil, 1/4 dose SM-90, and liquid dishoap into a spray bottle.

Your gonna want a nice spray bottle so you can do a really good job and your hand wont get to sore.

Soak the leaves top and bottom(underneath side), dont miss a spot.

Wait 3 days and repeat. After 3 sessions stop and observe.

Aslo if you can remove the plants from the grow area, and clean everything in the area with bleach and water.

You can do it !!!!

The neem/sm-90 spray is good for the plants even when you dont have bugs as a preventive spray. Keeps bugs/mold/fungus etc.... away :rasta:

sm 90 you can get from a hydro store, yes it sounds like you do have spider mites, like everyone else here has said, use those and also get some sticky traps or no pest strips and hang them near the plants, you can use neem every 7 days and repeat as nessasary, but don't use it if you are 3 weeks before harvest.

be sure to repeat treatment a few times with a few days in between. The spray won't kill the eggs, and when they hatch you will back to square one.
