my new kief press

walked away from the holidays with an interesting new toy. A keif press~ to compliment my already crowd favorite kief box. It makes some pretty killer stuff at a good rate, i'm pullin 20\25%, cuz the product i'm working with isn't nessicsarily the best, its good kronic don't get me wrong but i'm out to get as much as i can so i will sacrafice a little bit of the quality of the hash

there's nothing wrong with working your plant material until it's completely depleted of trichomes and then some!...esp when you have very little to start with...I'm the same

the next step up in hash making from those little kif/grinders is to a stash box with a screen and the next level is a dual screen box

check out Gypsy Nirvana's dual screen boxes....they will produce blond sticky hash in minutes!

i made one out of a deep well socket and some nuts and bolts. I got a decent chunk just from breakin bud up then putting it in a mason jar and fittin it with panti hose. cheap. just shook the hell out of her over a poster board

i used to have on of those
i had a herd time getting the puck out after i pressed it usally but after a while ( alot of pressing) i must have gotten the son of a B too tight and while opening it or trying to open it i should say i cut the crap out of my hands with the grippy part i think a big part of that was because i tightend it up after i had it wraped in a rice bag for about 5 min first and that made the puck super dense but i had to use a couple of vise grips to open the thing and kinda scrached the outside and made it even rougher so i threw the thing out . since then i have just used a C clamp a deep well 22mm socket and some pieces of a turkey bag and two coins from a local arcade .sounds cheesy but i have cut up my hands yet! lol i love hash

in the pics at the top, that silver cylinder thing, is called a kief press, it has two rubber stoppers that you load the kief in between and then you screw the end cap back on and is presses it~

Dude.. I don't even know why I asked you that... Seriously NO idea. I know what a keif press is, lmao... I think when I replied to that, I thought you were asking where you can get one, and posted a picture as reference. Then in the next post you made you had a stash box.. And for whatever reason I thought that stash box has a built in kief press.

i have newly received a pollen press ... finding that my herb is dry and the apple thingy dont work when it comes to hash/kief ... i tried something and would like to share it ... i make tabs the size of a penny ... i have had trouble with the tabs (because of dryness) breaking apart ... but i tried something i thought of( maybe used but i have not heard of it) ... i put my sifted herb in the press ... then i put the press with the bottom cap tight and the top cap loose so the cold air can get in there ... leave it for about 4 hours ... then take it out and let it dry/wipe the outside off/ for 2 to 3 hours depending on the dryness of your air(it was winter and i have propane heat very dry) ... then press tight and set over night ... then take out your dowels and it will be hard enough to cut with razor blade and smoke under glass with straight pin through a match book(old school) ... just thought i may help someone with this technique ...
P.S. i use plastic wrap to wrap my dowels to prevent sticking ... you can use aluminum foil or like things ...
