My new grow room

Hi all,

I was playing with the camera last night and decided to take several photos of my combination grow room/computer room/smoking room to show you.

I am in the process of decorating the room. I have been searching EBAY and other places for nostalgic Cannabis-related publications and memoribilia to put on the walls, and there are several glow-in-the-dark pot leaves stuck here and there on the walls...looks pretty cool when the lights are all off. Feel like a kid again!
When I am ready I will take all of the shelves down and paint authentic-looking, artistic spray paint graffiti on the brick wall so it looks like a Los Angeles freeway overpass with all the gang slogans and whatnot. Then I'll put the shelves back up.
I think it will look excellent when it's all completed. There is room for only three people in that room at once, so it's very cosy when I have a friend or two over (or my 18 year old daughter, Kate) for a smoke and a laugh.

I will also be stringing a long line of flashing green lights all along the the string that I hang my buds from so hey'll twinkle and sparkle...again just for fun.

I have lots of other ideas planned as well. I want to get it looking just perfect and then I'll take some real good photos and send them into one of the magazines and see if they'll print them. I hope you enjoy them!

Anyway...I was just in the mood to show off my evolving grow room a bit.

Thanks Waydee and Rast! Yeah…my daughter loves it in there. She loves to come and sit with her daddy in that quiet, calm darkened room. She gets to select the herb she feels like smoking (the other grow room wasn't nearly as nice, but I always kept the jars labeled so she could have her pick when she went to a party or whatever) and we burn the good stuff while we listen to oldies and classic rock and she tells me all about her life and what’s going on and all. Now, we could sit and drink alcohol as well, but I doubt we’d be as close with that shit guiding our conversations.
My daughter is tall, athletic and quite beautiful. She has a ton of friends and is very popular. She is also bi-sexual, which means she carries baggage around that most of us are not troubled with. So it’s important that she have an outlet for her worries and concerns, as well as for her triumphs and happy occasions. We are, and have always been, as thick as thieves she and I. Best friends to be sure, but that has never influenced her semi-strict upbringing. She is a good person with a huge heart, and her goals are all attainable.
I am so very proud of her.

The fact that we share our time together so often makes me aware of how hard it will be for her when I am gone. But that’s for another time in another thread…

I hope this grow room turns out the way it looks in my head!

Thanks! I am having a lot of fun with it, mate. I'll post more pics as improvements are made.

I just noticed your mention of the "Chewits" in my growing/smoking room. Chewits are an essential part of any successful smoking session. I take all kinds of medications which already give me a dry mouth, but when you throw a bit of Cannabis in there the cottonmouth would get so bad there were times when I would have paid someone to spit in my mouth! I lived like that for the first three months I smoked until my wife surprised me with a pack of Chewits one day.

I think I must own stock in that company by now!

I love chewits! sweets of the gods, closely followed by starburst which I see you've got a packet of there - good call sir, good call.

Kinda on topic but the last time I got cottonmouth from smoking was waaay back when I had access to good hash in a weird way I miss it, it was a good sign I was really baked

hopefully I can grow something that takes me back to those days.

Nice place bro,I'm either entirely too paranoid about things or you folks are just a lot braver than me posting pics for the hell of it.Sometimes I feel like Id like to show off my setup but I just have this nagging feeling that it may not be worth it in the long run.Its not paranoia,I know exactly why I'm fearful lol

hehe, well i don't think it matters much if you post pictures or you just mention in a post, that you actuallly do have a grow room to show off, hehe. I had 2nd thoughts to, but what the heck - i needed some help and supervision.

thats heaven, i would never leave that chair. would prolly hurt my neck tho. i bet it smells nice also.
