my mistake

after years of the hobby, I had a lapse of my security. My loose lips were the problem as I apparently left a single piece of paper with my address in one of the bags of a trash dump into a private dumpster.

It was followed up with a knock and talk and I told the LEO I was a legal patient waiting to get my card in the mail. He kept pressing for high plant numbers and I fessed to 12(true actually) and he wanted a location and I simply repeated the mantra "I don't feel comfortable sharing that information with anyone" a few times and he left without writing me a dumping ticket as I expected.

I heard nothing since(been months) but sure learned a terrifying lesson.

don't know what to say ... a 'dumping ticket'?

this sounds like something Kartman out of South Park would get.

don't understand really, but I 'll bet yr embarrased!

I 'd be so embarrassed I wouldn't share ...

cheers anyway!

Let that be a lesson.... learned easy. Heh

Wow.

Just another reason I like pure hydro... nothing to really throw away except the trimmed stalk. Would love to have a grinder that would 'eat' those things really fast, without getting all gummed up. LOL

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

Jesus. Pay the money to dump it yourself. If you put your trash into someone else's dumpster/trash cans, you're opening yourself up to damn near anything.

If nothing's happened by now it's unlikely to happen. Hope you've got your rec.

I have thought about this a lot and basically what you need is a commercial garbage disposal. They make ones for steakhouses that are advertised as being able to shred bones.

Thanks for sharing your experience--that's a good lesson. I shred anything and everything with my name and address on it. Then the shredded paper goes into the compost bin. Shredded docs can be reconstructed, so I turn it all into worm food.
