hi tipster,
one thing I can say pretty surely is that your plant has got a magnesium deficiency.
Get some Epsom salt from your nearest pharmacy and ammend what you are feeding with 1 teaspoon per 10 liters in vegg and 2 teaspoons per 10 liters in flowering.

That should make your leaves get their colour back, the twisting leaves are a bit of a mystery...

Do you know the ph you are feeding your plants (and is it soil or hydro)? That would be the first thing I'd check.

thanks blackmelo wil do. the 1 in the pics is in hydroton with a bit of perlite and a bit of vermiculite (70-15-15) ive got 2 more in rockwool slabs wot seem to be showing same signs of magnesium def but no curling leaves? Trying to keep ph between 5.5+6.5 but on a tight budget and only got cheap tester with drops and chart

I cant really see magnesium deficiency. This would be yellowing between the veins with the veins staying green. This would start on your bottom growth. All I see is curling leaves. (its blurry in pic when you click on it to look closer) Add more details about what you have been doing to the plant. What are they being fed and how much? They are in soil? What is in the soil mix? What is the ph? Thats really important. Directions for testing are in my signature below. How do you water? Curling leaves could just be a sign of improper watering methods. How about lighting, temps, etc...?

Sorry if I asked a question that was already answered. Fertilize or water like you normally do. Then add a slight amount of distilled water to the pot. Catch the runoff. Test this ph. Complete directions are in my signature. It should be around 6. I am thinking that your ph might be high. Answer the other questions if not already answered.

Yeah sorry bout the pics sproutco, took the with me mob. temp's around 85 in day 65-70 night. 3 plants, 2 blue envirolites(I know a bit excessive but helps keep temp up and cant hurt can it?) 2 plants in rockwool(not curling) 1 in hortag(not hydrotron balls as said above(duh!),vermiculite,pelite(70-15-15) the 2 in rockwool are being watered with 2L/hour dripers each for 15mins every 4 hours. 1 in hortag ect 4L dripper every 4 hours(15mins) 2L drip didnt seem enough in hortag kept drying out)

Oh. So they are not being watered by hand and on a timer. Might need to adjust the timing different. Dryer maybe? Test the ph and report back. I am sure we will figure this out. Is it drain to waste or is there a rez for the solution the plants are fed? Can you tell what your roots are doing and what color especially the tips are? Tell me more about your nutrients and how strong they are? Are your stems and petioles not green? [Kinda looks like that in the first picture but then again i cant zoom in. I cant touch your plants. Are the leaves firm or wilting and not firm? The word is turgid. What I am saying is are they growing curly or wilting that way?

I am having a bad day. Asking questions already answered. Asking questions that don't apply. Sorry. :fsu: Maybe if I get high I will do bettter. :rasta:

Haven't done ph test yet(no distilled water) but think high ph is the problem. noticed when mixing feed earlier, think bin using contaminated container when checking b4. Double clean, double check from now on n c how it goes.
Checked roots- 2 in rockwool just starting to grow through bottom of slab, roots coming through are white but some smaller roots near top yellow/brown.didnt want to pull rockwool apart to check middle, scared of damaging roots?
1 in hortag mix nowhere near as good root system(long) alot of smaller yellowy/brown + brown roots but some longer white roots.

The leaves seem 'turgid'.

Drain to wate

The stems are a purple colour. Wot's that mean?

Took some more pics earlier with digi cam, hope they're a bit clearer.

Here's the 2 in rockwool(leaves not curling)
