So... I ended up with some Lebanese landrace seeds. All I know is they are from wild plants in Lebanon. I sprouted a few and one of them was female. Typical of me, I did not have flowering space and so she vegged.
Much to my surprise, having done almost no research, she began flowering when she ran out of rootspace. Another happy accident, again due to no research, lol the 'Chimera's version of Frankie's Church males became rootbound and also flowered under 18hrs of light. What a boon, yeah?
I call the cross Lerch, Lebanese Church.
I just harvested the first flowered plant and she's strong, berry/fruity and very nice.
Since being root and branch trimmed, she has now finished revegging and filling the fresh soil with roots. She has begun flowering again!
All cuttings have failed so far, they flower and rot instead of rooting. I am working on air layering a branch instead.
I am also testing Formula #27 of my proprietary femming system. Only on one branch, since it should drop pollen before rotting once I cut it off. *crossfingers*
This flowering run, I will pollinate her with some femmed pollen from a high cbd cut of Canna-Tsu I had several years ago.
Having limited plant numbers to work with sucks, but this girl is making the veg area a lot more entertaining the last few months.
p.s. yes, I have gnats, thrips and root aphids of some sort. I am currently ignoring them and working with the plants which do the same.
