Hi ppl, im in2 my grow, now, just spotted my 1st pistillate preflowers, 2 on 1 girlie(haha, im buzzin, my 1st girlie, grown all by myself, nuthin 2 u guys i know but stil, heh heh heh. My plants are northern lights, 4 plants r 6 weeks old and 3 plants r 4 weeks old. The pistillate flowers r bith on the same plant, when do u think i should turn my lights to 12/12, will the 4 week plants be ok if i do it now, or should i wait another week or two? plz, im in a stress about it, dont know whats best, they r under a 400watt hps. all advice appreciated, 1st timer uk.

got em all sexed, 6 out of 7 are girls, i call em my bitches. 6 out of 7, thats gr8, especially 4 seeds that cost 6 pound for 5 seeds off a local market trader, got the cheapo seeds while i get my technique down but with a sex ratio like that, ill be buyin more of that dudes NL

Thats a great ratio.
I however have pulled 7 males out yesterday and today. Perhaps even 1 more tomarrow.

Leaving me with 3 females to continue flowering.

I have some rooted clones I can throw in with these larger ones.

seems a perpetual harvest is in-order now.I'm going to keep cloning, and I started 29 more Mazar seed in germ today.

I think I will give it a shot.
I have the time, and put alot of effort on these guys.
I will look for the Best of them. Test the High. Pollenate a clone of one of my Moms.

The rest get made into hash.

Now while i was reading the breeding section of a well known botany book i noticed that pollen is only good for short periods.
Any kind of moisture will cause it to germ and die for the most part.

If you plan on pollenating i would try to do it as close to collection as possible.
Then again im just going on what the book states and your preferences might be different.

take clones if you want now. Keep those ladies going. Leave a male in 2-3 weeks to pollinate ladies, then pull that bad boy out. You'll get plenty of seeds. Grow clones longer in veg to get bigger plants and buds, also to clone more and shape or train for bushier plants or for scrog.

put it in a baggie in the frig or freezer. it'll keepfor a few years this way.

fresh is best,just put up a piece of foil on the wall & you'll see the little white specks ofpollen. Pull the male & all ladies 3-4 weeks flowering will have beans. yee haw. Let the buds dry naturally and collect beans.
