Lo' all.
Let me begin to say im humbled with all the experience around here at IC. I read this forum and others for months now,and I've been staggered at the progression of cannabis horticulture techniques in the past years... its come along way since F.I.M.
I'm happy to have the collective knowledge of literally thousands of years of growers at my fingertips! its daunting, but reading will only get you so far...
So here i am, inspired by others to share what I can and have begun to have enough confidence to do it. I am in no way an expert or even good at growing compared to many, but I've pulled a decent chop or 2 and too many that haven't came close to pulling their own weight in the lights (but sometimes great smoke on the small yield strains
). I'm forever learning and open minded so hears to always better growing!
Up until now I've done mostly Promix grows because its simple and if its one motto i have its definitely K.I.S.S. and there's not much more simple then dirt. Currently thats what I have now but i'm getting into bubbleponics the next run and currently building a small test run RDWC to see if its right for me. But that's for another post for another time...
Before i begin i have to mention im a cardholder in AK and proxy for a family or 2 but still want to take no chances so i always have under the number they allow "legally". Its still gray up here. Ive read the motto somewhere No smell, No sell No tell and it works great for me. The drug teams up here have better things to do like combat the rampant heroin, meth, synthetics, and pills that's killing our youth and destroying families ATM to fuck with legal medical growers such as myself.
Lets begin with the setup...
I have a 7x5 room currently holding only 1 600w light and less then half of room is utilized. So really my area around 4x4.
Pro-mix, and this run trying to finish off what i have of some GH 3 part. Have yet to try Lucas because I gotta use up my green bottle i paid for lol.
I have a cheep sunsystem sealed 4" reflector thats not that good, but its what i got
Currently flowering up my mom Orange Kush (or at least that's what I was told it was) and a few x-tra clones I was given to see if the strains are worth keeping...

Here she is 5 weeks or so in flower. Just a little nute burn and the massive heatwave a couple weeks ago dried out a lot of shade leaves and have since begun to yellow and die off. I just couldn't keep it cool enough! Perfect room it is not... but if it does not get 90 here (very rare) rooms are kept easily at 65-75f. shes recovering well I think and vigor as been showing again.

Im saving for a new hood, fans, ballast and bulb for the other half. Since I don't sell, those items are pretty expensive to save for up here. Can't buy online, because the shipping is murder! so the 2 or 3 shops up here try to keep the best they can for us but we cant get everything with only 1 distributor supplying all 3 shops.
