Hi guys, I need some advice about my first try of growing cannabis!

I'm trying to grow 2 plants indoor with a grow box 60x60 and a CFL 150W light.
Here a little things I've done:
03/10 planted on jiffy
09/10 placed both inside a pot
11/10 turned on the light 12h/day (they was 40cm far)
15/10 light distance reduced to 20cm

I used root juice and bio grow in this phase but I have some problems because my plants growth in height and now they are flaccid, almost on the ground, so I placed some temporary holder as you can see in the attached photo.

Actually I don't know what is the problem, I red online that could be the absence of wind, so I bought a fan (now turned on 24/24) to strengthen the stem.

Can someone help me figure out?

Yep. You needed a fan, or 4. Wind is a huge part of it. There should be a good breeze lightly shaking every part of the plant both above and below throughout its entire life, with even MORE circulation throughout the rest of the room.

I like to keep my seedling shorter, by distancing my 42w cfl maybe just over 20 cm from the seedling until the stem develops enough to lift the lights in an effort to try and stretch the plants out towards their screens.

Also, I would recommend growing your seedlings out for at least a couple weeks under 18/6 or 20/4 or even 24/0 (day/night). I've never grown 12/12 from seed, but I can't imagine you would grow more than a quarter ounce per plant.

thanks for your help, i managed to save my babies in two ways, my problem was that the stem was too long, so i:
filled the pot till the top (in order the decrease the stem lenght
used some stick to help the stem stay up
placed a fan 24/24 for at least a week and then 12/24

Even if the growth is pretty delayed the stem gained strenght and now can carry the load.

Thanks so much!

Only reason a seedling stretches that much is because there's not enough light. Bring it closer.

There is a trick to figuring out the sweetspot for cfl lighting. They need to be as close as it's possible to the plant without burning them, so you do like this:
take the bulb, and using the back of you hand (which is more sensible than the worked face of the hand) you keep going closer to the bulb till you start feeling it getting hot compared to the ambient temperature. That is the point that is "too close". So a bit under that is the sweet spot to keep your plant tops in.

And jiffy pots are often too "hot" (peat) for seedlings. I've seen many a grower discouraged starting them in jiffy pots, or the disks you water. Definitely need more light or moving light closer. And don't throw everything at them as far as nutes. That's like feeding a steak to a new born!

hi guys, here again for the update! thanks a lot to everybody for the sweet advice!!!

Right now my 2 babies have 32 days (4w 4d) even though i think they are pretty late with the growth. I summarize the story line:
03/10 DAY 00 Planted.
09/10 DAY 06 Putted on pots.
11/10 DAY 08Lighten up 12/24h (distance 30/35cm).
15/10 DAY 12 Moved to distance 20cm, powered up the fan 24/24h and placed support for the stem because the plants didn't stand up by theirself.
24/10 DAY 21 Added 5cm of soil to reduce the stem lenght. Powered up the fan 12/24h. 27/10 Light cycle increased to 16/24h.
30/10 DAY 27 Appeared burn on the lower leaf (excess of fertilizer?).

All dressed with 2 weeks of root juice and the remaining 2 and a half weeks with a vegetative fertilizer (both 5ml in 1.5lt of distilled water, about half a liter every 2 days).

What i'm doing wrong?! :thank you:

Probably too much fertilizer (2 weeks of root juice and the remaining 2 and a half weeks with a vegetative fertilizer (both 5ml in 1.5lt of distilled water, about half a liter every 2 days).

We recommend using half strength every 3 waterings, then amp it up.

Who knows what those screws you are using for support is doing to your soil pH, or leaching off into the soil.. I try to use things that are inert for staking...

@aridbud what do you mean with "We recommend using half strength every 3 waterings, then amp it up."?
I should start, for instance, with 2ml in 1.5lt of water and then 3/4/5 every 3 watering?

@MrBungle you are surely right, that was a temporary support cause i had nothing in my home right for the job, i then removed the screw as soon as i got something better, now i removed it totally!

Leaves problem i'm not able to identify

Leaves problem i'm not able to identify

Good evening everybody, i'm asking your help because i have a situation that is going on for a few days now, i summarize the whole trip:
- Age: 52 days (7weeks 4days -> 7d seedling -> 45d vegetative)
- Height: 55cm
- Medium: Soil
- Nutrient: Biobizz recommended dosage (see here)
- Light: 150W CFL Agro
- PH: water 6.5 - water+nutrient 7.0 - soil 6.25 (not sure)
- Temperature: around 26/27 degrees
- Humidity: around 70/80%

The problem is that my leaves are sick, i checked out the most symptoms looking here and here with no results

First i checked if it was a nutrient burn (because i have wrongly given my plants Biobizz Bio Grow for 30 days of Vegetative and then switched to Biobizz Recommended dosage).
Then i pruned the plants removing all affected leaves and gave 'em some nutrient and checked all PH.
Today the symptoms appeared again in 2 form, so i think there are multiple problem to be fixed but i can't figure out which are.

I attached 3 photos showing the sick leaves, i hope someone could help me!

:thank you:
