Hey, call me Rusty. I'm new here. Have a 400watt Soil grow growing currently. I've just switched out the MH for a HPS and dropped the light schedule to 12/12 :woohoo:

Just took some cuts 2 days ago. Stuck them into a Rapid Rooter tray+dome. Hopefully they will take. I'll put up some pictures oncve the lights come on!!

So the temps have been running arijnd 75 with lights off and as high as 83 with lights on.

I'm feeding with Gh flora micro and bloom at 1/4 strength mixture every fourth water. Watering minimal amounts oncer per day.

Doea anyone have any suggestions or questions? I'm an open book and am looking for constructive criticism. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for reading.:tiphat:

Your temps seem just a little on the warm side. Try adding a bit of silica into your nute solution when you water.. I've only used it on a couple strains, but it seems to really help the plants deal with higher temperatures without showing signs of heat stress. I got a bottle of 'silica blast' and so far it seems to be working as advertised

Good start. Looking forward to seeing more pics and keep this post updated about any issues, these guys rock for advice.

It would be better to use veg nutes until after the stretch then start bloom nutes. You have a nice looking plant. Good luck and happy growing.

Some thoughts:
In the warmer temps your pots will dry out faster depending on what size they are.
Try to get a good amount of runoff to prevent salt build up.
Are you using GH flora series according to the manufacturer's suggestions or using another recipe found here on the mag?

For about a week I was feeding at full strength according to the label. I was led to understand by doing research that I was overfeeding and way too often on top of that. So I have been ph flushing with neutralized water for a week. I fed last night at a 1/4 veg mixture according to the label. The temperature has been at 81.2 since I started flowering. I'll have to find some silica and do some research. I'm lookjng for a flowering mixture to use or test. Thank you everyone for the help. :ying:

I've been watering minimal amounts in incriments and acheiving a small run off. Ill start watering more, they look a littke stressed.

If memory serves me right, 7 grams of Maxi-Bloom per gallon of water is the amount suggested in the KISS thread. This has worked for me. Best of luck on your first grow.

nothing wrong with the seedling thats just the cap dieing off, dont feed for a bit and keep it in the dome and let the air out for 1\2hr each day. looking good just dont chase every little problem. only thing I'd really say is bump them nutes up a bit get it through the veg and send more worries on that BUD! good luck and keep us posted

if that wifi is one plant youre gonna be happy, nice bushy little bitch

Nice Cabinet! A possibility you could use a light mover and larger watt light (maybe 600) to cover it? Or like you said another light, Either way you got a nice setup and good ideas.
