My luck with seeds so far hasn't been too great. The stuff I usually have doesn't really ever have seeds in it, so it's been tough trying to find anything from a bag. And so far my attempts at buying from a vendor online are unsure, but hopefully it'll all work out.
Regardless, I've been trying my best to germinate any little thing that looks like it may be a seed. I did have some mild success in pulling out an immature seed, that didn't even look like a seed, and managed to get it to swell up a big and change color and look like a seed, but it never grew. However one day when I was checking on my germination attempts, I noticed something stuck to one of the paper towels I was using. It looked like a germinated seed, with a white sprout coming right out of it! It was sort of small though.
Looking closer I could tell it was a tomato seed, which must have gotten stuck onto the paper towel from my table when preparing things, and I must have missed that seed when cleaning up after cutting tomatoes. It's not much, and it's certainly not the prize I was after, and the quest for cannabis seeds is still underway. But I planted it, and it grew, and I now have a lovely little sprout in a pot on my windowsill. It still means something to me that I was able to grow this little thing, even by accident.
