My First Outdoor Grow

This grow consists of two bagseed plants from different sources. Didn't really keep track of which was from which source that I liked. I guess I'll just have to smoke it!

For the soil, I use a bag of manure/compost, bag of potting soil, and some perlite mixed together. Also, I mixed in some ratio of Espoma Garden Lime, Bone Meal, Blood Meal, and Espoma Epsom Plus salts.

After preparing the soil I immediately placed the germinated seeds into the soil on July 1st and placed them outside under the central Florida sun. I have them hidden down by a lake.

Today is August 11th and the indica dominant strains is a confirmed female, flowering naturally. The sativa dominant strain MIGHT be a female, I can not 100% sure yet. I can only hope!

I topped them once by pinching off new growth.

Well, had to chop down the sativa dominant strain because it hasn't really started to flower and it was a little over 5 feet tall! :yoinks: However, I took 5 clones from it and am rooting them now. I'll probably keep 2 clones and give the other 3 away to friends. Where I am located, its just now true 12/12 outdoors and stays warm for a long time in the "winter". So hopefully I can plant them in pots outside and they'll just finsih late in the year, oh well. The sativa smells super lemony and fruity with a little bit of pine.

The Indica is doing great and has been flowering for aboutr a month... not really sure being it's outdoors. I'll check the trichomes. The Indica also smells lemony and sweet.

I'll post my ferts and whatnot later! Time for class! :pointlaug

I've had sativas finish in Feb and March in a climate I guess is pretty similar to yours...nice looking indica! Bigger pots woulda meant bigger plants, but I guess you're keeping 'em small for stealth...

^ correct. I kept them in these size pots because I wanted to keep them smaller. Even though the sativa was in the same size pot, it just kept growing! I'll get bigger pots for my AK47 seeds!

Looks good, man! Did the sativa get too big for security reasons? If not you shoulda let her go. They tend to get big like that and flower later, but it's beautiful :D If you want you can check out my baby, she's sativa dom and around 6 feet, totally flowering now with about 4-5 weeks to go. But she also was planted in early May or so, which was way earlier than yours.

If it was just getting too big to attract attention, then I can understand. Hopefully you're right and the lighting will force the clones into flower soon, they should strech for you and be decent yield, but you're right they'll probably take a long time to finish.

Either way, the photos are beautiful! Keep up the great farming, Joe! :joint:

^Yes, too big for my security. Clones are fully rooted and in soil. Still have humidity domes on them though.

The roots look brownish from the superthrive solution. They are white though!

You can put those clones out soon and they'll finish at 2-3 feet tops. You might yield more from the 5 clones than you would from one 5 footer IMO. :)

Here are two pics of one of the tops! Bottom links are high resolution-ish.

Trichs are mostly cloudy around the calyxs and get less cloudy the further you travel outward.

Anybody have a time estimate as to how much longer?
:woohoo:
