My county water

Just checked the water quality report, and it doesn't list any calcium or mag. The ppm of my water is less then 100, could this be right, or should I have it checked somewhere else?

Sometimes it's just listed as "Hardness" which is the total of Ca & Mg.

For instance, in this report the hardness isn't listed in the chart of contaminants, but is mentioned as the very last item on the 2nd page

i think its the report from his county? county water?

i get city water. i can go to their web site and get daily #s on everything. ppl dont realize that rain creates runoff which changes the rivers and lakes ppm. hence the treatment plant responds w/more agents to make it human worthy.

i dont worry much about my tap. the treatment plant keeps ph 7 to 7.5 and they keep the ppn down.

the report even shows fecal matter (poo) in the water in my tap. runoff.

Ya, it's county water. I bought a little tester that you fill up and send it in. I know it changes with seasons and shit, but it'd be nice to get an idea of how much cal/mag, sulfur, and others are in it.

Can't get it right, your water is semi hard, I would get your system looked at soon, but your water is very hard 249 is pretty high, but is also pretty good for well water man, I have seen peeps with 500 that is not even safe for consumption. The ones in bold is the ones you want to worry about and the one that is bold is your hardness.
Is your well water system new or old?
Your TDS is 249 which means it's very hard water and you have plenty of cal mag and other elements in the water. It may make it very hard to lower your pH in the water and when you have water that hard, you want to invest in a better well filtration system or get a RO system to filter the water you use for growing.

Yes, that is correct. What water pH and TDS that comes from there tap may not be the same from your tap, so good you got a meter, depending on how much deposits and such are in the pipes coming from where ever they come from, from the water company to your house can change easily.
