my carbo filter

High guys , i am a total indoor noob , only have done 3 indoor grows before

and after these 3 runs i changed my filter.

Now because i am drying and it is raining outside , i closed the window , so the exhaust pumps air into the same room.

I also have a dehumidifier there

But that is not the point , the point is , when i open the door to that room , i still smell weed not very strong , but i can smell it

it is more of a stale odor with very very little weed, but i can still smell it

now i am pretty sure outside noone can smell it , because i can only smell it good if i leave the door closed for like 30 minutes and then return to the room , whereaswhen the exhaust tube is hanging outside the window the air is immediately mixed with outdoor air

so my question is , is this normal??? Shoudln't a carbon filter eliminate ANY smell 100%???

I also ducktaped the filter and the tubes to eachother , so there is no air leakage or stuff like that , everything is well connected

I understand there is a dehumidifier in the room but what is the humidity level at? (especially near the Carbon filter)
Carbon loses it's ability to effectively scrub the air when the carbon is wet.

What kind of carbon filter? R-48 carbon or carbon pellets?
