My C22 - 400 watt Organic Soil Grow

Hello my fellow ICer’s

I have not started a thread in a very long time. After the OG debacle, I freaked out and deleted all my pics, (hindsight says this was paranoid delusions but my OCD made me do it) Hope you enjoy my thread.

I would like to take a second to thank Gypsy and DG for their hospitality and hard work on this site and for all the great genetics I have now.

Now on to the show.

My cab is a C22 with 12” added to the back for more room. I use a 400w HPS light and grow 100% Organic Soil. I use a bubble cloner to make clones and then transfer into soil.

Here are the genetics I will be growing.

Aphganica – Flying Dutchman
SD – IBL - Rez
NYCD x Somatooth –
Skunk – Female Seeds
Petrol - Rez

My Bubble Cloner

This is how I make clones

Start with nice selection of cuts from nice genetics

The Bubbler

The homemade plugs

The method of cloning I use.

After getting cut to location

Place clone under water, make all cuts under water

Cut of lower node leaves and stem

Cut bottom diagonal

Put foam plug on stem

Put in bubbler

I like to have clones so they barely touch water.
I use very light nutes and hydroguard.
Water temps 68 - 72
Dark res to keep out light leaks.
I get about 90 to 95 percent success rate with this method.

damn interesting method for cloning man, i've never heard of making all the cuts under water. but it makes complete sense if your trying to keep air out of the stalk.

props

ZeusOGrefugee - Thanks for stopping in this one should be fun :)

WhyMe and visualsensation - the plugs were made from foam floor mats used in exersize or kids room they are square and interlock like puzzle pieces.

I use hole saw that works in drill to cut. You should get two different sizes like 1 inch and 7/8 inch. Cut holes in bubbler with 7/8 in and Plugs with 1 inch hole saw. That way plugs fit in snug. Hole is in center plug from drill bit in center of hole saw. I just cut slit in plug to insert and remove stem. :jump:

vinivici - Thanks man

Sleepy - Hi Buddy, Good to be back missed this place. :friends: :woohoo:

Day 7 in cloner

Day 7 in cloner

Ok its day 7

This is the day when you ask yourself "Are all these going to die, where are all the roots" the good news is just be more patient. Good thing come to those who wait :canabis:

Here are some current pics you can see the first roots grow from the internode where you cut off leaves. This is why it is important in cutting clones.

Here is my air pump, I replace filter that is under after every grow. Just use cotton from cotton balls or Q-tips. This keeps good air flow.

Day 11 in cloner

Ok Here it is, Everthing going good. Rez temps a little high using Ice Packs to cool for now.

About 50 % have good roots and 30 % have white dots or small roots 20 % still waiting.

Day 20 from Cloner to Soil

Got to love the bubble cloner.

Some people say never add any nutes to water. I always add lite nutes and hydroguard. I think it must be old school new school thing. Hard to teach old dog new tricks. :woohoo:

I use the double pot method Its the way I figured to get a 2 gallon pot in a one gallon footprint. I can fit up to 26 of these in my small cab. I would have 26 in there but I cloned a male :pointlaug I decided to keep 3 of the male clones to use for pollen. They are sticky DSD.

Here is my cab
