My 420 in Amsterdam

R

Ronley

I arrived in Amsterdam miday on the 19th April. I booked the Galerij hotel on the Raadhuisstraat. The best thing about the Galerij was the location, - 4 blocks from the Seed Boutique, 3 from the Dam square, A few more from Central Station. Although it was on a busy road, I was not bothered by any traffic.
I rang the bell to my hotel.

.

After checking in I went to the Boutique but just missed the guys who were going to Nol in Haarlem. I was pretty exhausted from my travelling. (I must have had 2 hours sleep) so decided not to rush off in persuit of the Haarlem going gang, and instead enjoy the excellent vibe in the shop and meet new people coming in. I opened the halva (2 kinds, chocolate and pistacho) and bought a guest pass for the 19th and 20th,

and watched someone doing some judging of one of the entries.

At 5.30 PM. We were taking the boat to the evenings venue but first we were given a goody bag. In it was a glass bong, an Arjan Bobble head doll. Some seeds from Greenhouse and Kiwi seeds, filters, papers, matches, a grow DVD, lighters, fliers and a very cool stash box. Because my hotel was so close, I could run home and leave my goody bag there with out having to carry it all evening.

About 15 people got the boat that sailed for about an hour around the canals and took us to the venue. First Growdoc gave his talk on his grow methods, then Soma gave his talk with a slide show and explained to everyone what was up on the screen. Before he began he passed out joints to everyone.
He ended his talk with a massive hash paper joint. And explained to everyone that we had to keep the joint UP incase it fell out of its glass receptacle.
Adam rolled it for us.

Then it was Adams chance to blow the crowd away with 60 grams of weed that burned in about 8 min.

Hey Ronley great pics and memories

was so nice to see you again, really loved the halva you brought, but forgot to pack me some to take along , lol.

Adams show was memorable wasn't it, lol? i got so damn high from both the hash joint and the leaf blower, it was amazing. i think even the security guys were getting high as they had to close all the doors, from the entrance to the venue, lol. ahh what fun it was.

The venue was a little far from the central station and we had to tram back.
Luckily I was with Growdoc who knew the way back to the center of town.

The 20th April. started out with the wake and bake at the boutique, then to Pink Floyds for breakfast. - Coffee, croissants, fried eggs and toast and ham.
I just had the coffee and croissants.
Pink Floyd won the best coffee shop and here is there trophy up on their shelf.

After Pink floyd we went to the Green house. There we had drinks on the house, and at 4:20 the 420 joint was passed around.

Of course we were well entertained by the traditional Roor. That Farmer John kept full for us. He even had 2 big bags of Ice that Nol gifted the IC maggers.

I dont remember what time we took the boat that left the Greenhouse, stopped off at the boutique and then took us to the venue. This boat had more then 40 people on and the driver was quite worried about being over quota.

The venue was great, the bands were superb and the ceremony was excellent. Everyone got thier awards. The only bummer was that there was not one single chair in the whole venue. No amount of puffing and smoking can make up for no chairs,...

I stayed in Amsterdam until Tuesday. The weather was SUPERB. Hot sunny wonderful days. Here are a few photos that I chose to post. Naturally I have 100's and would love to post them all but we need to be selective.

There was the annual carnival in the Dam square.

A bit of fashion.

Even the cat is horny in the Red Light District.

Sunbathing in the Dam and a few other pictures.

And the amazing beautiful glass piece that TimeWarp wanted to enter into the cup.

Thank you everyone. And my pleasure for the halva. I absolutely love it. It makes marvelous munchies. - that and South African dried mangoes. My absolutely favourites.

Here are some more photos. I will post the weed ones first. Most of my weed photos have people in them and so it makes a hard to select. but I have marvelous shots of almost everyone.

This is what Nol gifted the ICMAGGERS.
2 beautiful packets of ICE.

Adam fired up this contraption at the awards ceremony. It was MOST effective.

Some random photos of Amsterdam.

Awesome pics Ronley. Wish I could have come. Maybe one year.

The general photgraphs brought back some nice memories of my one trip there, as did the weed shots. You and I should try that hashish as a rolling paper joint idea. Check out this joint,

. We should try one or the other.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to breaking in your new bubble bags in a week or three.

ps. I'm glad you skipped the ham.

that look like the bong TF rented? did Farmer John also have a bong with him?
anyway great shots, you really know how to capture the moment. that one with my grinder and a few crumbs of bubble brings it all back, passing out the hits, lol.

this trip we were so spoiled for bubble that we were rollling joints with the best of the best, just to use it up in time lol, tricomefarmer, truecannabliss, dr.D, ojd, Nol and myself all had at least 2 types of bubble with us, so you can imagine how hot that roor was running at times, lol. Oh yeah, then there was also the delta9man, Moppel and SativaBelieva who all also had some top notch bubble with them. :D

Farmer John

OOPS.
I meant Trichomefarmer. I got mixed up between all us "farmers".

Talking about bubble hash, I went to visit Mila at her Polinator shop. I had a wonderful half hour with her, and bought 2 additional ice-O-lator bags. 120, and 90 micron sizes, to add to my 220, 70 and 38.

Indeed farmer John. They all do. Although for one second I contemplated going on the dive bomber. Gypsy asked me if I would go on it with him. Initially I said no, but after watching the thing go around and do its bombing I reconsidered. I think it was when my inebriated state was wearing off and then quickly had another joint and returned to my senses.

he started out with 4 bags of ice hash. a couple of them were totally full melt indeed. at the end of the session, when Nol offered the bags to be used for smoking everyone up in the next days, i had to decline, i was so well stocked already with my own 4 types of 73u bubble, that i told brightside to take charge of that bubble. LOL.
