My 1st 'legal' grow.....with clones.

Howday

Time to get my feet wet again and get acclimated to my new environment, so I choose clones instead of poppin' seeds.
I have 4 new clones, but will only show 3.....1 is on it's death bed.

First Z7 (Cannatonic X Mr. Nice Afghan X Skunk)


Second DJ Short's Blueberry (Temple Flo x HTAF)


Third Afghani (Landrace Indica)



Using Roots Organic 707 soil amended with Tappin Roots water (5 gal mix and pour) in 2 gal (no transplanting) Smart Pots.
Transplanted using 2 tsp per container of Xtreme Gardening Mykos.
Applied Oregonism XL and plan feed all RO organic line of dry nutes.

I will attempt to keep it as organic and/or clean as possible and not looking for HUGE yields just connoisseur style smoke.

Nice i too am doing my first indoor in a recreational legal state! I went the cheap route and popped some seeds i really wanted to try that i accidentally made a while ago growing dark heart clones. How long do you plan to veg for?

I lost the Purple Urkel...which I really wanted to grow, but the BlueBerry and Afghani are taking off.
Z7 is hanging in there still.
I topped them last night, so another 2 weeks then flower maybe.
Total 1 month of veg.
Limited space and relly just getting use to the environment here.

Florida vs Colorado = 70-100% humidity vs 20-30% in the tent.

NCG I much rather of gone the seed route seeing how my stank bank is packed with some FIRE. :woohoo

Good thing about these strains are they fairly short F time @ 70 days max.

Bummer urkel is an awesome tasting plant i grew it outdoor year before last. Im most intresred in your Afghani landrace i picked up an oz for 80 of some outdoor afgooey yesterday really great smoke just packed with trics. I am also vegging for a month maybe 3 weeks ill see how fast these seedlings develope. What size is your tent and light? I just purchased a 4x4 i run a 1000w in temps seem to hover mid to high 70s with an rh of 40%

I know about the Urkel. Sad things is that strain has really effected me in a couchlock way which I like.

I'd love to throw my SolisTek 1000w hps in my big tent, but no room.

Tent 32x32x63 .... little booger with 2 300w LEDs.

Honesty dude I'm about to give these to a buddy and start something a lot more interesting I was given the other day str8 into flower.

I sold my 4x4x6 to someone down South.

The Afghani I got from KindLove just like the other 3. I know a lot of people will moan and complain about clones from dispensaries being shit.
Well they can all kiss my ass, because I took advantage of something that most can't.

Ohh ok i wanted to try those led lights sounds like there getting pretty efficient. I would atleast flower the clones you have if there healthy if i were you but everyone has their style. I have had great luck with the dispensaries clones in sacramento like rcp,cc101,alpine, and natural health up hyw 50 a bit to name a few with varified cuts from nursery's. Let me know what you end up doing?

LEDs are IMHO easier to deal with than the HPS/MH .
Have ran them for 1.5 yrs now.
Feeding organically light nutes, so I never really get the BIG hauls.

The other teenage girls are on their way over now.

So the Z7 is looking rough, but I stink she's just a nute hungry girl.
Feeding them starting next week, so hopefully she rebounds like my others.


Afghani starting to get her feet set.


Dj Shorts BB is taking off! Super stoked to see her in flower.


Almost forgot that I topped these ladies this week.
Going to feed them with RO foundation and grow dry nutes a la top dressing style next week.

Looking good bud the newer growth on the z7 looks better like she's growing out of it I've just recently started reading some of dj shorts writing about genetics and breeding awesome stuff I'm gonna say the best I've read about breeding I took a bunch of screen shots so I could look back on it. He says that his blue berry was one of his first real projects bread from all p1 pure landrace genetics he has been breeding and stabilizing it since the 80s I would love to grab a clone of it if I could.

As I have read and/or seen a lot of the same good information from DJ Short myself.
One on my favorite ....not word for word but may be.....once you work a particular strain for 10 years that is yours.
I would pay respect to the original breeder also if I were to breed. Not really interested hardcore yet, so I will refine my cultivation skills further.

My lights are off right now, but I will edit with pics. DJS BB is booming!
The afghani is right behind but squatier and Z7 I stink will just be a gangle little girl, so I'm cool with that.
The food is being taken up like Free Budweiser by Rednecks and BB is a thirsty girl too. I have to water her almost everyday,

Here's a lazy update from 2 days ago.....



Transplanting tomorrow with 2 nd feed scheduled....will update after.
The way the BB is growing it should be a fun training session.
Little Z7 finally taking off, but she'll be lanky but stanky.
The cuts that were taken have shown promise especially the BB from what my homie tells me. All clones over there for now.

Get a tent. Environment is easier to control and/or manipulate. IMHO no shorter than 183 cm also.

I second this I just bought a tent last month and am loving it my temps are an even 75f and 40-50 rh running a 1000watt hid all I have is a 420cfm inline hooked to a air cooled hood super easy. I recommend the Apollo grow tent you can get a 4x4 for 110$ shipped no light leakes as long as you close the front zipper correctly.
