Musty taste

Ok, so now I have a problem, or I think I do.

To make it short: my growroom is in this shed that is on our yard, and the shed is around 50 years old, and the flowering room is in the part of the building where used to be a sauna and the place smells funky...little bit moldy I say, musty...so the biggest problem is that the damn plants seem to catch this smell and the bud tastes like crap IMO, salakavala knows what I mean, it's not a bad taste but usually, herb grown in a old wooden house tastes like it, the buds dont smell like the place but they taste just like it, it's very annoying and I have no clue what to do, I might have to build a new room to the carage, there doesnt seem to be the smell or any other things, concrete walls etc...so, what the hell can I do to make it NOT taste like old socks?

Try,Dry& remoisten maybe.

Try,Dry& remoisten maybe.

I've heard of remoisting buds by putting them back in jars or a tight container and add in a small peeled carrot works good I hear or any small piece of vegtable.I would put them in something like a dresser drawer let them air out a bit a day or so.More would be better but you dont want them to get too brittle.Them I would put maybe a smal cut piece ofl potato with a small piece orange peel. That is just what I would do.I myself have never done this because I'm a nOOby workin on my first real grow.I have read about remoisteing buds though.JUST MY :2cents: You can try different fruits and veggies I guess if you want.Take care Farmer John

I would try an ozone genorator....i've done a test with mine and put it in a room that is in my house that smells like moldy old socks...
put in in the room for about 3 hours....held my breath when i went in to turn it off....came back awhile later and smell and mold was gone....
i now use that room for my veg room and no mold smell at all...
ozone genorators kill mold and airborne alergens..fungus, spores,
i have mine set on a timer....depending on the size of the room...like 10 minutes an hour.....hope this helps...
