OP: You and I know that no one, no band, could ever do justice to the original Floyd (after DG, I don't really care much for Sid and the sound is very different from what I consider to be Floyd). Animals IS the fking greatest album IMO, along with Meddle, and yeah, DSOTM. But Animals is just beautifully produced, written, and composed. Flows in your veins like blood and even has a truthful message that holds true today.

I actually will listen to any genre, ANY genre, if it is appealing from Beethoven to Metallica and everything in between... even "ethnic" music where I have no idea what they are saying.

Who was the band playing anyway?

"Pigs On The Wing (Part One)"

If you didn't care what happened to me,
And I didn't care for you
We would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain
Wondering which of the buggers to blame
And watching for pigs on the wing.

The Cranberries .... im not a big fan of their well known commercial hits like Zombie etc, but a lot of their lesser-known songs are absolutely beautiful
Everything I Said (live) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzkKjqIBDzg
When You're Gone - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uyz5h2nhyCc
Promises (live) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT-JOcZwnqY

These songs are great but i'd appreciate if you guys gave me the name of the song and the artist. its hard to choose which songs to download when you just give the artist.

this is what i listen to, for the most part:

bob marley: one love, positive vibrations, lively up yourself, smoke two joints (i dont like sublime's cover), three little birds, kaya, could you be loved

bone thugs n harmony (or solo artists from bone thugs): weed song, buddah lovaz, weed man, bud smokers only, first of the month, p.o.d, smokin buddah, blaze it, if i could teach the world

cypress hill: hits from the bong, dr. greenthumb, i want to get high, roll it up light it up smoke it up

peter tosh: legalize it

ray charles: lets go get stoned =D

and pretty much any and all red hot chili peppers, led zeppelin, pink floyd and jimi hendrix songs. classical music is really soothing if you just want to relax (j.s bach, mozart, beethoven, rachmaninoff, etc.) chopin's songs are almost always sad at some point and can be emotional, but i like his music the best. vivaldi is my non-piano favorite.
