i was gifted 1Og of some purp rings this past sat. theyre sitting here taunting me. iv a bit of a cold, so want to be 1OO% for the trip. .25 is suppose to be 4-6hrs? i will see i hope so too. that would mean 2 trips instead of 1

see I don't buy shrooms but its funny to hear people give them names like that. Ugh anything to hype them up. Also if they're cubenis you might want to take more than .25 of a gram. Try around 1.75-2 grams. Remember you can always add more if you like. And yeah 4-6 hours is about right.

theyre called purple rings, by me, because the ring is what we look for in the south when field picking. if it didnt have a purplish/blueish ring, no good.

the kids here call them suntops. you do know there are different kinds of shroos? hence different names?

these were picked by a friend. i planned on eatting them all, but was told these were goooood. so was to start w/half. wait an hour and maybe take rest. depends. i dont pay for anything that grows free....drug related.

There are plenty of mushroom threads/pics on IC. It's usually fine in the toker's den. I mean, we're not talking about dangerous drugs here, like meth, coke, heroin, etc. Anyways, I just saw these pics and was blown away, thought I'd share with the community. If you don't like it, I am sure you can find a thread that you approve of and read that one instead.

i dont find coke that dangerous.. ive abused it like many people id say speed is worse in my eyes, and H etc is in another league

more then likely they're cubes then. also different names doesn't make them different mushrooms. 9 times out of 10 they're gonna be psilocybe cubenis. though others exist they're no where near as common. cubenis can come in a variety of shapes and sizes however so I can see where some people would call them by different names. hell when you buy spores they have lots of different strains but they're all the same kind of shroom.

Depends on what strain of cubes there are...theres cubes, pan cyans, psilocybe cyans, psilocybe azurescens, psilocybe mexicana A, Pf Albino, Shitloads of strains. 95% of all dealers, growers are growing Cubensis because there the easiest to cultivate out of the psilocybe world.

Not true at all. Theres a lot more than just 1 psilocybe strain

1. Your perlite looks way too wet.
2. Don't use aluminum foil anymore. The metabolites will eat straight through it.
3. And cakes get cased on top not bottom or rolled and verm, or it will pin out the bottom and flip it over.

Colonizing mycelium secretes acids and other metabolites to help break down the substrate. Fortunately, they don't effect glass or plastic.

I'd suggest black plastic fruiting trays.

There is more than one kind of psilocybin containing shroom however there is only one kind of cube... psilocybe cubenis. The others aren't cubes.
And when I meant strain I meant not different species of shrooms but rather strains of the same mushroom, psilocybe cubenis. Strains such as golden teacher, b+ and pink buffalo are all still the same kind of mushroom (cubenis).

Oo Yes I agree...P.E are more potent though even though they say cubes a cube....I don't believe that for a minute...each one offers something different....there all just hybrids anyways though...Penis Envy has been found by many growers to be more potent then normal cubensis

true but the yield is lower. also spores are kinda random in themselves unlike mj seeds.

I enjoyed the large size of Orissas myself, and they were some of the most potent I grew, although the Texas Gulf Coast/Big T strain was the strongest and it is kind of hard to find now, or was at least last summer and now I don't really need them. I enjoyed this thread, but I am gonna unsubscribe. Peace,

second, no one pay attention to anyone except the man that directed you all to shroomery.org . probably the best site out there for this kind of stuff. mycotopia is a bit more mature people, so i will let shroomery be flooded with youngsters.

and last,

46 grams wet = about 4 grams dry. the term "fatazz" should be reserved for mushrooms that weigh 20+ grams dry. I'd eat the mushroom in the picture and go to church.

sorry if it seems like I am really mad or flaming anyone. the topic of mushrooms can tend to be frustrating/hilarious when you have people shouting out random facts/brags .


*** i'll throw out my completely random fact of: get away from multispore as quickly as you can (as in first grow). Liquid culture clones FTW!

Mushrooms have been the biggest positive change in my life. Without those hard trips, I think I would still be psychologically hooked on weed and suffering with anxiety. I'm not sure I need to trip anymore. Once you get the message, hang up the phone.

Mycotopia is a bunch of people that if 1 persons way works everyones like O THATS IT THATS HOW TO GROW....and what I've been saying unless I stated that it was wrong is right....90% of people don't study mycology...they just do what works....I'm talking and learning from 2 dudes that study it and things have changed since the past 10 years


bear...do agar...isolating the perfect phenotype with the best rhizomorphic traits and g2g from then on will def. increase your speed...IF not just as fast as an LC would

There is more than 1 person on mycotopia that knows what they are talking about. I know a bit about mycology and so do many people on mycotopia and I have rarely seen people "jumping on the bandwagon" when it comes to the best mushroom cultivation methods. If that were the case than Id imagine there would be more reports and pics of bad practices. I dont frequent shroomery primarily because evertime I do, I have to sift through bullshit threads started by ignorant young'ins. There is a lot of great info there, its just a less mature site imo. This is all just my opinion though.
