mushroom spores in soil.

Hey all,
Long time lurker, still a little new on the post counts though. I use to be over on overgrow and the old cannabis culture forum. Not my first grow, but I’m still in my infancy, learning what I can.

Anyways, upon observing my Clones this afternoon I happened to notice what appears to be small colonizes of mushroom spores. I’m aware that part of the soil mixture I choose had manure contained in it, thus where I think these guys hitch hiked their way into my grow. I have noticed that the soil seems to have adequate drainage; however it stays moist for a very long time (only 1 watering a week if that), what I believe it partly due to low lighting.

Anyways, what should I do here? The clones are thriving (appear to be) now that there in soil. Should I just transplant the clones into a new soil mixture (obviously, not the same mix)? Perhaps, just get some more heat where I have them to help aid in drying out the soil faster? MY main concern is that no damage occurs to clones (I have waited too long for these things to root). Step up air circulation? My guts telling me to just scrap the soil, however I would like to see what come of these guys, they have caps that look just like shrooms, and given there’s manure in the soil, I’m going to go ahead and make the assumption that’s what they are. Not to mention the cap looks very identical to them. All help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

btw i have pics, once my post count is up ill post them up here.

wow mushrooms

Crazy stuff, I would suggest getting rid of that soil and getting something a little lighter and possibly a little less on the rotting material.

If you need to keep that, I would seriously try and get that soil to dry out

Yes you need some more air circulation. Pics would be helpful

well now that i can post pics, here they are. They still manage to grow in soil, tho i just chop them. I relocated my clones under a new stonger light. Hopefully the extra heat will help out.

Thats cool!!! if they are indeed magic shrooms, which they could be, let em grow.
i grow shrooms along side my weed, but not in the same container.
the only way to correct is transplant, shrooms only form from a mycelial mat and it has to be mature to sprout shrooms, this means it is through out your soil. only other option would be a fungicide, but they are rough on healthy, established plants, they would probably kill a new cutting.

keep us updated.

I just pulled a mushroom out of one of my pots yesterday. Kinda weird. At first it looked like a fat root intwined with a chunk of bat guano.

I'm not really sure what caused it, only 1/16 had a mushroom. I'm using Parahnia and Tarantula, fungui & bacteria, anyone think that could've played a role?

mushrooms are the fruiting bodies of fungi. Fungi is extremely beneficial to our soils. Only if the temps and humidity and the rest of the precursers are met...will you see your fungi fruiting. No biggie...
