mp5k question

My seeds from Gypsy finally came, after many weeks and a little despair. My very modest north central US grow is pulling itself together. A year ago my hopes were on Guerilla Gold. While this did indeed offer some of the most amazing looking and smelling buds I have cultivated, it is not quite what I am looking for...I want euphoria, and GG offers serious alhzeimers symptoms.

I am growing a few seeds from friends, and some standard commercial offerings...Early Queen, Quick Mist, Maple Leaf Indica, Northern Lights (nirvana) and Hashberry.

In spite of thirty years experience, I would appreciate any comments on Dr. Chronic's MP5K. I don't see much on this when I do a search, though one Bud Meister has a serious pic up.

In other words, I have two freebies...don't know which to fire for the bogbuckets...MP5K or Sam's T-haze X skunk.

Maybe if I post a pic of one of my 07 projects I can get some respect on my MP5K question.

Got this from Greenz and Mr. Clone before they quit sending to the US. GG #2 I believe.

Interesting pot...strong, long lasting, but hard on the memory and lungs.

Each pheno may as well have been a different plant. One for instance was short with a single cola; another was tall, branching like Mighty Mite.

This one smells like cat pea and diesel and lemon pledge.

its rather a bad strain ...i remeber faintly that i grew it once....supposed to be some afghan x something something...and be shure, if i can't remember it, it woz't very special

I have had terrible results TWICE w/ Dr. Chronics MP5K. The plants germ fine and veg very easily. However...mine would not flower! While others strains were beefing up at week 4 of flower the MP5K (multiple phenos) had thrown one maybe 2 pistils! This happened both times I tried that strain w/ 30 seeds being sown each time. Total disappointment. I have seen some killer pics on the web, but twice they proved to be garbage for me!

Hey, this is my old thread...I was former oger, but I can't long on; weird that pictures of my last year grow are still up.

I only grew a single plant of this freebie from Dr. Chronic, but I would defend it. The Dr. says it is a mix of afghani and ak47.

Early in the cure, I found it a bit racy for some reason...now, ten months in the jar, it has different properties. I don't care for the taste or the smell, but that strain is very strong, clear and happy. I have only grown out about 40 strains in the last ten years outside in Minnesota, but I rank it in my top ten...my friends love it.

I guess I got lucky. I grew two MP5Ks 3 years ago and thought it was up there in potency. Everyone thought it was really strong pot. It was my 2nd grow and I got a pretty good yield from both of them. I've got a couple of
MP5Ks going that are a week old for this year's grow. These are outdoor grows btw.

mp5k is fantastic but is not easy to grow. grown indoors in low temps she puts out more resin and less leaf then ak. the smell and taste is very strong concord grape. she loves lst. I flower for at least 70 days. yield is modest but potency is extreme. outside she is alot leafier grows huge, yields great but is not as tasty. mp5k is my personal stash.

I liked the plants I grew out. Ran her for quite a while - need more seeds.

A friend had a relative from the west coast visit over a holiday and he picked some up from me. He tells me his relative says "where did you get this, you can't get shit like this on the east coast".

A few pics of MP5K. I've grown it in just about everything from a SOLO cup to 5 gallon buckets. All the plants I grew out had that earthy hashy taste that reminds me of Afghani and if you had some in a plastic baggie in your glove box during the summer - your car would reek of weed. I only give it to about a dozen people, but the only complaint I've had is lack of availability.

The first pic is MP5K in a 5 gallon hempy, 5 gallon soil, and 3 gallon soil. Second pic is SOLO cup size (about 9 inches).

What happened to Dr Chronic? His seedbank looks different and maybe it’s just a new interface but seems like he maybe sold it off.

I loved Dr Chronic’s gear TroubleMaker was fire. As was MP5K.

I miss the old HG420 daze…

Here’s a name that’ll bring back some good memories. FET of Spice Brothers Seeds. Blast from the past right there!
