so i have to leave where im at and i figured id just go to cali.. laws suck here.
the only thing is im super bummed because i have to loose all my babies and i have one that i dont think any strain can compare to and im contemplating bringing it somehow, but i know thats a bad idea. how hard is it to find good genetics out there? do i have to wait a year before i can get my card? can i visit a club without a card? i dont really know very much about cali any help would be awesome.

greenlove things happen for a reason so i would say embrace your move to cali. but at the same time sorry for your losses.

i think life is all about connections. if you chose to go out and make connections then youll find yourself in better spirits then if you just wait and let the connections come to you, if they ever do.

again if you have the right connections u can find the best shit and if you dont then u find above average shit.

theres tons of people here from cali both north and south. i live in socal and there are tons of pharmacies. expensive but available. if you check out the medical marijuana forum then ull find alot of info on the socal clones found in at certain pharmacies. one seems to be very popular amongst those who frequent that thread. but going to norcal then lucky for u there is a thread for those clones also.

if i were u i would post any questions regarding business with them in those threads dependent on if you go north or south. they will be able to help u out alot better than i can cuase ive only been to a pharmacy a couple of times.

u cannot get into a club without a card, as far as i know. be prepared to spend about 200 or so on the purchase of a presciption that will enable you to get the card. i dont think u have to be a cali resident to get a presciption. but i could be wrong. in all respects it would be lame if you did have to but like i said i dont know the answer to that q.

good luck guy and hope i helped with the info. :joint:

how far away from california are you? a lot of the states nearby don't have border checks or they're bypassable, so you could transport a clone or small plant in reasonably safe manner.

east coast haha. 45 hour drive. i really do want to bring a cut. im telling you my shit would blow up. i gotta borrow my friends digicam looks comparable to the white or any of the kush/deisel/chem cuts. flavor is outstanding lemonypinesol/berry/deisel/muffins yeild is pretty decent considering its the best/prettyest bud ive ever smoked in my life. high is stupifying you cant move or close your mouth or do anything, but it makes cartoons go thru my head and i picture myself in the craziest scenarios and im really there in the scenario until i snap out of it and realize im sitting in a chair not being chased by a leopard in the jungle (or whatever scenario i came up with that time.) it gives people anxiety attacks and makes them turn ghost. (white skin blue lips) the flavor is addictive, even if your retarded you just keep smoking more. no one that has gotten it has ever told me that they have better. we call it T-DUB (dub is for "W", t-dub as in trippin-weed) if you know somone from my area maybe you heard of it.

problem is i really want to bring it but i have no place to stay out there to keep it alive, and i dont know anyone out there to keep it alive... im kinda just dippin out. i was planning on camping along the way and camping out there for a lil bit. so thats my main prob in bringing it.

you can get a club card and buy what you need the same day. as far as genetics go, northern california probably has more unique and "elite" strains then anywere in the world. Humbolt and mendo are here which means hundreds of thousands of plants are being grown every year. you can find many of these fine geneics in cannabis clubs and elsewere. im sure your plants are great werever you are, but dont think you wont find something that will suit your fancy in cali. i have been to amsterdam, and thats all fun, but i have never found better buds anywere. at least thats the norcal in me talkin. sf bay is great place to live. oakland and berkley can be cheap. the city is not so cheap. good luck

As far as transporting goes, I think that if you get a decent cooler from a thrift store or something, pack it into the back of your trunk with maybe a light plugged into a cig lighter (if you can rig it), you should be OK.
If not... pack em up, drive, stay at a hotel, and set up a light in the tub with the plants for the night.
Lather, rinse, and repeat.

exactly. bring the clone that way and introduce cali to some of your new england heat.

without getting too specific, where in cali are you moving to?

Just wanted to mention, it could be tough.
How many days were you planning on taking?
If its a straight run through 18 hours driving per day, thats... what? 3 days of driving or so? 4? 5?
I haven't done a cross country trip since I was in a carseat.

Anyways, if you're taking your time, it could be difficult. They might die if they're just in a cooler or bathtub or whatever for a week straight.

On the other hand...

Rent a UHaul truck for the week(end?), tow your car behind, and set up a little grow station in the truck :-D
Just don't speed.

Hey greenlove, take a couple deep breaths and relax.

I moved thousands of miles away from my hometown when I was young (19). I moved away from a shop supervisor position, lifelong friends (still to this day even), all of my family, everyone and everything I knew. I moved from a small town in a Mid-Atlantic state, to Hawaii. It was quite a culture shock.

The best thing I can tell you is this: No matter if you stay there forever, move somewhere else, or even go back home, you will always treasure the move. Even if it doesn't work out the way you had planned. It is an adventure that very few people will ever do.

(most people are born, live and die within a hundred miles of their birthplace)
