Moving potted plants. Day or Night?

Hello all,

I'm going to have to move my potted plants to another location. When's the best time to do this? In the morning or in the evening?

Security or being seen is not an issue. Just the least most stressful time of day for the plants.

It's a 15 minute drive to the new place and they've been flowering for 2 weeks. It would be sad if they stopped due to stress.

OK, thanks in advance!

Cheers.

Hey bro. Looks like yours and my posts are the only ones here that will not get a reply, so I'll try and help you, and maybe you can read mine and try and answer them as well. I've moved plants once, but they were not budding. I had no prob. whatsoever. I assume since I did not change the climate, or the amount of sun they got that they adjusted readily. I guess it's tough being a newbie on here, with no cool pics to post, or 300 posts under yer name, our questions aren't taken that seriously. I'm looking for another website to post my questions on, I'll PM you if I find one.

I'm going to search the threads on here. Maybe someone has asked the same question on another thread. You may want to do a search on " Ask Ed ". I do not recall seeing that question being asked, but then again I'm usually high when I read it...lol Good luck.

Thanks!

Thanks!

OK,

Thanks for the tip. I guess daytime would be better for uniterrupted darkness.

Nah, people here are nice. It's just that there's not too many people yet. It's a site about 4 months old. Give it time :)

I'm growing Skunk, BTW.

Cheers!

if security is not an issue I would move them about an hour before the sun goes down...gives them a chance to get a little more accustomed....

I just read the first post cause im lazy so i would say night to be safe cause its lees strees for tha plants and safe for security. but if no one will see you then day is way esier and it's harder to screw up..

Yes i agree with HillBillie : the late afternoon sun is alot weaker then the morning sun , but you should wait about 2 or 3 days

put them somewhere , where they are looking at the sun ,but not directly in it

i just learned the fast way , how fast the sun can burn a plant growing indoors

it took only 10 min's too burn a 40 cm x 60 cm plant too a crisp

so be careful , peace
