Moving indoor plants outdoors

Hi I have a question. Is it possible to move indoor plants under 12/12 outside. I have about 12 plants that are a week or less under 12/12 and I would like to move them outside today. Their finishing time is about 8 weeks or the end of September. I know that the days here do will not reach 12/12 until the end of September. Peace

I wouldn't put em directly in the sunlight right away, they might get shocked, ease em out into full direct sunlight over the course of a few days

As Bungle highlighted, the shock to the system for them may be a bit too much so avoid the light and casually let it in over quite a few days, depending on the healthiness of the plants. Make sure that you add more than your usual protection sprays as more bugs and animals will be able to get at them, so it's important to keep the plant protected as well.

Essentially the answer is yes it's possible to move an indoor cannabis grow to the outdoors, just take your time and the proper precautions not only for all the new pests it may be exposed to but the exposure to much more sunlight.

Yep, just gotta harden them off. Put them for a few hours, bring them in at night and just ease them into it over the course of a week or so . And you should be good to go.

Hi thanks for the replies. I have a few plants that I did not want to keep inside, I did not like the way they grew out. I was concerned moving them from a 12/12 area to a an outdoor photoperiod of 13 or 14 hours of sunlight might cause them some issues. Also they are supposed to finish flowering by the end of September, so I don't have much experience at growing plants past their finishing times. But if you all agree that it is ok, I may go on and put them outside tomorrow afternoon. 💡
