Jersey shore fuckers are not italian. They may be of Italian descent but they are not Italian. Italians from Italy are way different. Don't forget that most of the people that came to America from Italy were the poor, the uneducated and/or they were criminals...basically all the people that Italy didn't want anymore...or they didn't want Italy anymore. Italy is a very divided country, even today. North is industry and that's where the money is, the south if agricultural and a poorer area...but there is more heart and passion in the south, its a warm welcoming place and the people there are very humble. You could meet someone and within 15 minutes you are being invited to their house for lunch and being fed this meal that never ends. Man I miss home sometimes...

Built ...said it right..It's all about what you make of it.You will only attract people who are on the same wavelength.If you've got it set in your mind that its gonna suck then the people who like you are going to be the ones that also thinks Cleveland sucks..thats been my experience anyway with other places.
My niece is married to a guy from Cleveland area and his whole family are real down to earth good people.The laws don't seem too bad either..Certainly better than a lot of states. I love the restaurant suggestion too.Every restaurant I have worked in has had some serious partyers.Hard working partyers that is..Good luck.
P.S. i wouldn't expect any Ohio peeps to contact you yet..But post a grow or two and my guess is that would change..Enjoy your move man.

I know that I seem desperate but i dont know how to hook up with people...how to ask if they smoke or not and stuff like that...what i'm understanding know is that there's so much Prejudice around italians over here...also if there's so many italians in cleveland...Man i dont know...i'm working...i'm studyng at tri-c metro...my life is going good and maybe better than the one in italy but...like I said...I have no one to trust here..no good friends....not even one...people here seem so COLD and Distant you know what i mean?

i dont know of any areas of the USA that are specifically prejudiced against italians.... Italian culture is so ingrained in the USA that italy is basically the USA... people are more prejudiced towards the messicans, immigrants in general, homosexuals and/or their agenda to make everybody gay, geeks/nerds/wimpy folks.

but yeah hanging out/enrolling at a community college is a good bet. or get a job with rotating young people, like at a restaurant

but then i have no intentions of going to cleveland or ohio in my lifetime, it may harder than i think.
