I'm not air cooling my lamps in this room also no A/C.
My big room has 10 hoods that are air cooled with a 2 ton A/C.
This room has an 8" exhaust and a 6" intake. The average night temperature is about 30 degrees.
My room has a Sentinel EVC-2 environmental controller that has the fans and a 70 pint dehumidifier plugged in to it to take care of the climate control.
I have 2 12" air kings on one wall and should probably pick up a couple more.
The strain is West Coast D.O.G.

My 10K room was going to be all OG but I guess I'm going to go with 4K of Snow 4k of SSH and 2K of OG because I want to do the OG with 25 per lamp scrogged.
I'll get around to some pics of that room once I've got my act together in there.

My 10K room isn't really anything to look at right now because I harvested it a while ago did some remodeling work in there and took a vacation. I am about to plant a crop up in there.
It's going to be 40% Snow 40% SSH 20% OG K
I've got it all set up so next time all 14000w will be The D.O.G. And it's only going to take me 56 ladies to fill up the whole setup! Woof Woof!
I'm thinking about changing the orientation of my reflectors in the small room and cooling the lamps. I haven't decided yet, but I'll probably do it just because I like cool temps.

BreederBrad - It's going to take me a minute to get it all reloaded with my baby girl but once it's said and done and I'm back to doing All D.O.G All Day...well let's just say it won't disappoint! doing SSH, Humboldt Snow, OG K in the big room and The DOG in the small room isn't too bad..some times you just have to hodge podge it!
Pirate - Yargh Cap'n Pirate! Have yourself a pitcher of Grog and a few wenches while you're aboard! That 4 teir system would be crazy...Believe me I've thought about building a scaffold type shelf grow with lights hanging down the middle in some crazy technofandangular way..but honestly, theres 10 lamps and 10 raised beds and 25000 btu of a/c and a co2 generator and my 100 pint industrial dehumidifier 10 wall mounted fans floor drains and the in room scrubber and it all just works so perfectly I couldn't DARE undo the formula for PROVEN success crop after crop. I'll just drool over yours!

I'm growing in sealed room with full climate control using raised beds and feeding Super Natural brand nutrients in my 10K room. I have no idea what plants were used to make the West Coast D.O.G. There is a lot of stuff on line about it but it doesn't make any sense in the real world because I've grown Chem D and Chem 4 and smoked a good bit of what is for sure the SkunkVA Chemdog 91, and The West Coast D.O.G has 0 similarities to Chemdog 91, D or 4.

I would think you would be loosing airflow in thous insulated air-tubes as the insulation is "open" by the shades. At least thats the case with me...

We have had great success with it in the past...If you could explain, I'd apperciate it....

I don't like House & Garden because they have many many products. You don't need to use a nutrient line that has 10 bottles to grow a healthy, consistant, bountiful crop.
I have never done a hydro grow but I have used the Aarde A&B with BudXL, MultiEnzyme, RootXL, and shooting powder. I got the same results as using Super Natural Terra Bloom. 2 pounds per lamp. The only difference was the Terra Bloom costs me about $12 a pound, and I use 1 tsp per gallon so imagine how long that lasts compared to a few hundred dollars for whatever mickey mouse liquid nutrient line the hobby shops are selling.
