Just curious who else here is into motorcycles. I myself ride a 97' VFR 750. The gear driven V-4 makes a wonderful noise, and with the D&D pipe, she just screams!

I also don't have a car, so she's my only real form of transportation. I ride rain or shine, though I cant say I enjoy riding in the rain.

I love to go on long rides especially when the weather is nice, and especially if there are lots of twisities and nice scenery to be found. Longest ride yet was 300 miles or so.

Post some pics of your bike!

Here's mine:

there is no way (100000000% no way)... that i would obey traffic laws on a bike.

I would pass everyone constantly and I'd even be on sidewalks and between lanes if i had to get by.

BTW?...serious question?

How do you street bike riders resist the urge to pass and/or take "off-limit" lines when you can?

do cops care if you pass in the gutter or middle of the lanes or over a dbl yellow?

...or do an illegal u turn?

I'm sure they do, but thought they might let sum shit slide that woulden't fly in a car

I dont know if this is true for all states, but I have heard that if a biker is going over a certain speed limit that cops are not allowed to stop you because it is too dangerous to the rider. They would more than likely end up crashing. I do not ride, but thats just what I have heard for here in Maryland.

cops arrested this one guy here that was was trying to outrun a helicopter (helicopter that spots speeders on the freeways) he hit speeds of 290 km/h in a 90 km/h freeway.

he actually lost teh helicopter for a while but then they spoted him again when he had to slow down for a turn and they got him.

I know about crash and Burn all to much... my bike was like the GSXR 1000, But mine was older and it was a GSXR 1100 and it was Super Fast, I spent over $6000.00 in upgrades and a complete do over of the motor and exhaust at a Suzuki Dealership Known for Racing.

BTW: Bike desinegrated, i ripped it aprat when i wrecked at speeds of 145mph i'm extremely lucky to be alive.. I will never forget, But i have rode since, took me 2 year's and i grabbed a cousin's GSXR and Hit the gas Wide open on interstate was crusing at 185mph and slowed up got off exit and done it back down other side of interstate, luckily no cops or i may of been in another Horrible wreck. Since then, No more riding. I do have alot of respect for bikes and poeple who ride them, I'm more on the slower scale now like Harley's Dyna Wide glide..
